Ive been looking at the taurus mod 605.Anyone own one?I hear the recoil when putting 357 though it stings,and I was wondering if its really that bad,or is it like the 40 cal? (everyone says my g23 stings,but it does not bother me) If someone has any experience with this one,please let me know.I generally hate taurus,but I hear their revolvers are decent and cheap...Thanks

I put the Taurus combat grip on mine. I got it off their web sight. It's a little longer and thinner than the short grip the gun came with. It makes shooting 357 much more comfortable. My 605 thinks its a Detective Special with one less hole. The trigger pull is very smooth and light. You would think it had a trigger job. It is also very accurate with 125 Grain JHP 357 Ammo.

I don't own a 605, but I like Taurus revolvers in general. I never had an issue with mine.
