The Frenchie thing is going nowhere. They refuse to reply and/or understand english.
http://glock.superforum.fr/ftopic42....dcom-glock.htmhttp://glock.superforum.fr/ftopic42....dcom-glock.htm
They have actually used a picture of my G17 pro on their "logo" that they have apparently ripped of from another site, and they are also distributing one of my wallpapers. ;P
I only wish I had a common language with them so I could "reflect" my true feelings about this crap.

If you check out superforum.fr you'll see they have a license agreement of sorts when you sign up.
“These elements are not allowed :
1. peer to peer link exchange (edonkey, emule, bittorrent…),
2. sexual elements,
3. elements having royalties.”
Since he’s hosting it for free superforum.fr should take it down…
I’d try here first. http://help.editboard.com/forum3-Nee...inistrator.htm

Juho,
Excellent work thank you for time and effort you put into this.
I would send example to other firearm companies to see if they are interested in your work.
Here is a link that lists the IP ranges for France
While it would be a "kludge" to block a whole country outright, looking at your htaccess logs (or NetBSD version of htaccess if different) may help you to find a way to prevent people/Websites from ripping off your work.
I am in no place able to recommend changes since I don’t have the knowledge on what would be needed; however one quick thought....
Instead of two bullets in the mag, have one in the chamber and one in the mag.
Fire the first round off and show the action of the handgun.
Now you are left with an empty mag and a single round in chamber...
Fire the last round off and show how the slide "locks back".

I haven't put more than two rounds in the mag because it really slowed down the animation. It sounds unbelievable considering todays computers, but there is something about gradient colours that really suck up computing power. Also because the 9mm is a slightly tapered round it seemed really difficult to do. I tried... the result was just a big mess.
Each individual cartridge must be animated separately and their position & angle is slighly changed every time time a round is extracted from the magazine.
The slide locking back is a good idea, also the trigger should not return forward as fast as it does now. If the trigger should stay back longer so it would be easier to demonstrate the trigger reset point. I will be returning to the Glock animation and making some improvents once I get the ar-15 and some other projects out of the way.

It's about 95% complete. Lots of debugging to be done though.
