Agree, especially gun store selling fake parts or misleading parts of sub-standard parts.

Most importantly a list of exclusive distributor for specific models so that support could be no hassle later on.

There were threads from a year or two ago that attempted to do this,
you know, create a permanent signpost to the 'good' stores.
Unfortunately, no store can please everyone, and wouldn't you know it...
there weren't many stores left WITHOUT some complaint against 'em.

Stores can improve, or they can deteriorate, sometimes rapidly.
For that reason it may be better to ask about a particular store
as your need arises, so you get up-to-date opinions on it.

But hey, that's just my opinion...
Maybe you can start a thread and make it work!

Rock Island Armory in MCS is so-named because AFAIK it was originally meant
to be a showroom-cum-outlet for Rock Island Armory pistols, a
particular brand of pistols owned by Twin Pines Inc....

So, yes, RIA MCS and Twin Pines gun stores are owned by the same folks:
the Topacio family.

Thank you Horge, at least im now at ease with them because of what you said. Anyway, I bought the gun Nov 29, till now they are saying that its still on process. How long does it normally take to process all the papers? thanks, Im really excited with the Glock 17 its my first licensed gun! kaya ko nagmamadali makuha yun. I already bought 4 boxes of fmj though I still dont have the gun.

It normally takes 3-4 weeks
The Christmas break might delay things a bit, though.

The 404's are because I am still uploading, deleting, revising and again uploading content. It was originally supposed to be a BoG homepage, but I did not want to step on anyone's toes --mwehehe...

All I really wanted was a directory and a depository for firearm laws (easier to link to a document there, than to retype or cut/paste whole paragraphs when discussing legal issues here on GT-BOG).
