Glock 23/27 9MM conversion

Recently purchased a 9mm conversion for my Glock 23/27 made by Lone Wolf. I used Fiocchi 124 grain "Dynamic Shooting" as the test ammunition. Lone wolf warned that the 115 gain might not cycle correctly and suggested the 124. Note, the Fiocchi 124 grain is quite hot, 1250 ft/s, 420 ft-lbs. Also, checked with Brownells and the teck said that the 40 S&W mag would work with 9mm, but I went ahead and purchased a 15 rd mag for a Glock 17. At the range, I shot a mag of 9mm thru the 9mm mag and everything worked. Next I shot a mag using the 40S&W mag and it worked until the last round stove piped. Repeated using the 40 S&W mag and every time, the last round stove piped. Shot several more mags using the 9MM mag and no problems.
Any comments?

I think that you should stick with the 9mm mags for the conversion barrel. I've seen people on Youtube shoot 9mm with a 40 mag, but I doesn't seem reliable. I have a LWD 9mm barrel for my 23, and I changed out the recoil spring and using G19 mags it runs 100%.

Which recoil spring is recommended for a 9mm conversion?
