Bill's Sporting Goods
Scranton, PA
Charged me $15 once, and charged me $10 the other time. Might want to double check though by calling before you go.

Hot Shot Sports in Schnecksville, Boyers in Slatington, and Army Navy Store in Whitehall all charge $20 for a transfer.

$30 for transfers.
$6 if you're buying from him and he's very reasonable.

I remember when Donn's got robbed at gunpoint a few years back. Pretty ballsy to rob a gun store at gunpoint, especially because the clerks used to carry there;g

These days every gun shop I've been to the clerks are armed.
two of my local shops even have a sign that indicates the clerks and likely the customers are armed and there is nothing worth dying for in that store. The guys at french creek usually are even carrying 2 pistols on them.

David Force, Chadds Ford Armory
29 Webb Road.
Chadds Ford, PA 19317
He lives off of Rt. 202 not far from where it intersects Rt. 1
Charged $25 + tax, IIRC, for out-of-state transfers.
I think he goes to the Allentown shows, has lots of military(-type) rifles.
(610) 358-1831
Old, Odd, & Otherwise
Prospect Park, PA
Charged $65 for out-of-state transfer, IIRC. I won a $50 gift cert., and everything was overpriced anyway. They are listed in the phone books.

Seneca Arms is on 29 right in the center of town. I was just there today.
I am shocked to learn of the Sniper Coutry PX! I work half a mile from there. I'm going to stop by tomorrow.

I have personally used him. He charged $20, no issues.
Gray's
Jeffersonville, PA
I have personally used them, they charged $25, no issues.
Gordon's
Broomall, PA
I have personally used them, they charged $37, no issues, I just think they charge too much.
Targetmaster
Chadds Ford, PA
Never used them for a transfer-only transaction because they were too expensive.
All of the prices were several years old, so I would not be surprised if they've increased slightly.

Can anyone provided updated data? I checked with Classic Pistol last week and they don't do this at all, the fellow said, at least not for members and for members I got the idea that the price is negotiable. He really wanted just to sell to me.

Yeah, I know. I learned the hard way. I hope he doesn't rely on me as a repeat customer.
I deal with Leonard's Sporting Goods on Lansdowne Ave in Upper Darby. They charge 35 bucks but with the price of gasoline, it sure beats driving to one of the less expensive shops.

Targetmaster, on 202
Targetmaster came through over the past year.
I was shipping a revolver to California even!, and it was the same fee, $50.
High? Maybe, but it got done. California is a nut with which to deal!
