My Sig 229 .40 S&W
I bought it used from a friend at work about a year or so ago. He had just got it someone else. I replaced all the springs, The decocker spring was wore out, and added Hogue Grips and grip screws. I bought a 12 round mag for it to supplement the factory 10 rounder.

The Glock 19 & 23 are considered compact models
while the 26 is considered a sub-compact.

In compact models Sig makes the 225, 228, 229, and 245
the 225 and 228 are 9mm only
the 229 is avial in 9mm, .357sig, and .40 S&W
the 245 is offered in .45 auto

Sig sub-compact size models have been made in a 230 and 232, and 239 model
The 230 has been made in .32acp, .380 auto, and 9mm
The 232 has been made in .380 auto only
The 239 is made 9mm, .357sig, and .40 S&W
