What sad news indeed!
I remember Woof's words of wit and wisdom very well, and he certainly was part of the local color here at GT.
I am very very saddened at this turn of events, and I wish nothing but good energy on his family that he left behind.
Rest in peace, Woof, rest in peace.

i'm tired of being what you want me to be
feeling so faithless
lost under the surface
i don't know what you're expecting of me
put under the pressure
of walking in your shoes
[caught in the undertow / just caught in the undertow]
every step that i take is another mistake to you
i've
become so numb
i can't feel you there
become so tired
so much more aware
i'm becoming this
all i want to do
is be more like me
and be less like you
can't you see that you're smothering me
holding too tightly
afraid to lose control
cause everything that you thought i would be
has fallen apart right in front of you
[caught in the undertow / just caught in the undertow]
every step that i take is another mistake to you
[caught in the undertow / just caught in the undertow]
and every second i waste is more than i can take
but i know
i may end up failing too
but i know
you were just like me
with someone disappointed in you

I just this minute spotted this truly sad thread! What horrible news. Woof was one of my GT favorites. He seemed to appreciate Ol' Pepper more than most. Condolences to his family from WalterGA, Pepper, and Sandy.

Woof ( Ed ) will be greatly missed. He added a lot of humor to many topics and always had something nice to say. I bet he had great people all around him all the time. I miss him allready.

Woof was always a decent man, and one of the reasons that ensured Glocktalk's success; new visitors were sure to get a warm and friendly greeting from him.
He was a sincere and friendly guy that will be sorely missed here on GT.
May God show him the same compassion that he showed so many others here, and welcome him through the gates of Heaven.

Oh man! I've been mostly away from GT for the past couple months, and as I clicked on a thread and saw blackopsglock's avatar changed to Woof's with the words "In Memory" above it I knew something must have happened to him, and if it did there would be a sticky so I went to GNG and sure enough it was there.
Everyone already covered what I would have said. I read this entire thread just out of a need of closure, I guess. Woof was probably the only poster that I actually ever wondered "hey, I haven't seen a post from him in a while".
I remember him from my first days on GT, and loved his Woof persona.
Woof, woof, buddy. ;w
