Ordered a box of Hornady TAP 124g JHP and a box of the Hornady TAP 147g JHP. When I get them in, I will update the list. This will bring the list to 79...

The 357 Sig 115gr. Nosler JHP 50rds.

and the 357Sig 115gr. Barnes TAC-XP Lead Free 50rds.

Apparently, there is no end to this 357 Sig ammo!! I just ordered two boxes of Bitterroot Valley Ammunition Company 125g - JHP as seen here:

http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/AMM3101-1.html

I will add it to the list when I get it in my hot little hands.... and I think I will stop guessing where the ceiling is on my collection...

List on page 1 updated to read:

44.) Hornady - 124g - TAP CQ

Half a frown here though...They got my order wrong - sent me two boxes of this and forgot to send the 147gr version I ordered. I will have to see how TargetSportsUSA's customer service is.... anyway, 79 on the list now!

Caliber : .357 Sig
Bullet : 125gr. Gold Dot JHP

3.5" (G33) barrel - 1415fps / 556 ft. lbs
4.0" (G32) barrel - 1450fps / 584 ft. lbs
4.5" (G31) barrel - 1525fps / 645 ft. lbs
5.32" (G35) - 1594fps / 705 ft. lbs

Estimating here, it seems they gain on average of 40-50fps per 1/2" of barrel added.
6.02" (G24) - 1644fps / 750 ft. lbs
So....... it I get an uzi sub gun and a 10 inch 357 barrel, could I reasonably expect about 1844fps? What kind of energy does that equate to?

I've been thinking of going this route for many months now and want to explore how fast we can go??

Two more loads on the way from Right to Bear Ammo... a load of 125gr FMJ and 125g JHP. That will bring the list up over 80. Unfortunately, TargetSportsUSA never did get me the load of Hornady TAP CQ 147g I ordered ....poor show!

An update on my journey to get/try different ammo: TargetsportsUSA finally got more Hornady TAP 147g ammo in stock, so I ordered two boxes. Please Targetsports, send me the right stuff this time!!! The Right to Bear Ammo company has not made another run of 357sig yet and offered to refund my money ( great customer service so far) but I told them to keep it and send me the loads when assembled. I just ordered 5 boxes of 125g FMJ from Wisconsin Cartridge Company. When all arrives, the list on page one will be up to 83!

Another load on the way!! This one from International Cartridge Corporation - a 100g - HP - frangible ( Green Elite TR) load as seen here:

http://frangiblebullets.com/xcart/35...Box-of-50.html

This company also makes a Green Elite NT round which is lead free ( the Green Elite TR stands for training ) and a Green Elite HP duty round - both of which I have been unable to locate so far.....

Yet another load on the way!! This one Precision Cartridge, Inc -110g- frangible RNFP as seen here:

https://www.grafs.com/retail/catalog...roductId/11939

I also got a box of their 125g FMJ. I have already bought and shot some of this stuff (on the list at 58 now) - but bought half a case and it came in Ziploc bags. So, I have been wanting a box as I collect an empty of each on the list... Just wish I hadn't thrown the Pro-load and CCI Blazer boxes away ( who knew they would stop making them? )

List on page 1 updated to read:

59.) Precision Cartridge Inc - 100g -RNFP - frangible

The Graf & Sons website said this was a 110gr load but the box says 100gr. I checked Precision Cartridge Incs website and it says 100g also. Graf also had their 125g FMJ listed as 124g....

Had to put the
** - no longer manufactured
on 8.) Collins Cartridge Co. - 125g - FMJ (RL)
& 57.) Precision Ammunition - 125g - JHP

as I no longer see 357 Sig listed on the Collins website and don't see any caliber of Precision Cartridge listed anywhere.....

Got an e-mail from Right to Bear Ammo -
We still have not started a run of .357 SIG, and it doesn’t look like we will anytime soon—the demand for other calibers is extremely high and not leaving us any time. I have refunded your card today for the full amount. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Please let me know if I can help you with anything else.

You mean people buy stuff besides 357 sig?? This puts me on pause at 84 loads...

Got another load coming!! This one is from Sillman Cartridge Company- it is a a 147g - FMJ. I could round the list up to 90 pretty quickly BUT.... I never add to the list unless I actually have physical possession of a box of the ammo, and I have had some financial limitations lately (I hate cars!) Anyway, I will update the list soon hopefully!!

Have you shot every single load you've bought?

It'd be cool to see a pic of 89 boxes arranged in a 3, 5 and 7 or something (or even a 3, 5, and 5)

I have shot 68 of them so far. I did start saving the empty boxes after several brands went away, so I have the packaging for almost all of them. Taking some photos sounds like a great idea. I don't have a nice camera so I will try to wrangle one of the kids to try it. Maybe a youtube video would better. I could be a 357sig version of Hickok45
