List on page one updated to include:
Corbon DPX- 125g - DPX
Corbon Pow'R Ball - 100gr - PB
Corbon BeeSafe - 91g - BS

This is a little bit of a departure as I have never included the "exotic" rounds like Glaser before or any of the "clean" rounds but.... what the hey! I'm getting to the end of the list ( Of course I have thought that many times before!! )

Just found this thread, hey fellow Sig lovers

The only thing ever shot out of my G33 has been Speer GDHP's. I found a great deal at a gunshow and grabbed a bunch of it.

Now even with this standard round, my Angry Cricket is snappy...what's everyone think about the DT stuff in terms of recoil? The muzzle velo out of a 3.5 barrel is downright impressive and I'm going to get some to try, but I'll have to admit...

I'm skerred!

Can't believe no one has replied to this.

The DT is top notch. I use it exclusively in 357 Sig and 10mm. Great product and the best CS you will find.

Enjoy!!

I got 1578 fps with DT 125 gr gold dot in my G31. Are the 125 gr gold dots being loaded in nickel cases now or still in brass?

I am new to this part of Glock talk. Just switched my G27 to a G33 and was amazed at the power and accuracy of the .357 out of this weapon. Now a confirmed .357sig carrier.

The order I just received was Winchester Brass. Wish he had the Nickle.

Finally got some time to test the 147Gr Double Tap 357SIG. This stuff looks good, Gold Dot bullet and new Winchester brass. The bullet has a very heavy taper crimp.

First test Glock 31 (4.5" bbl)
10 rds
AV speed 1171 fps
SD = 9.21
for comparison I have 125gr Gold Dot from Georgia Arms
(just to make sure my chrony was reading normal... it was)
10 rds
AV speed 1437 fps
SD = 8.30

Second test Sig P239 (3.6" bbl)
10 rds
AV speed 1089 fps
SD 8.06
GA stuff for comp.
10 rds
AV speed 1335 fps
SD = 10.14

1) The DT 147Gr is the softest shooting 357SIG I have ever shot!
2) In my P239 it tore the center out of a 3" bull @ 25 yds, off the bench.
3) Yes it was slower than rated speed but I still like it!

Those #'s are WAY below what DT advertises. 70fps below what they claim from a 4" barrel out of a 4.5" tube. Also, all the DT I have shot (about 5k rds.) have been packed in starline. How old were the 147's you tested?

Kirkcdl,

Thanks! They had a single box of 50 left out west so hopefully, it's on it's way to me now. Should have bought more but want to get a case from Precision Cartridge Company next. Also found a couple of oher possibilities doing some web surfing:

Quality Cartridge

and

Custom Cartridge

The box listed the speed @1250/4"bbl. This was lot# 001163 made on Jan 07.
I got two more box's for testing, they were made Jul 07.

We shall see!
