We should think happy thoughts about having a 625 while we are on this page. I will try not to think sad thoughts about the 625 I once had and foolishly traded.

This is an unlucky page for some people 6+2+5=13
in the meantime some thinks to ponder...
Marine Corps Rules:
1. Be courteous to everyone, friendly to no one.
2. Decide to be aggressive enough, quickly enough.
3. Have a plan.
4. Have a back-up plan, because the first one probably won't work.
5. Be polite. Be professional. But, have a plan to kill everyoneyou meet.
6. Do not attend a gunfight with a handgun whose caliber does notstart with a '4.'
7. Anything worth shooting is worth shooting twice. Ammo is cheap.Life is expensive.
8. Move away from your attacker. Distance is your friend. (Lateral&diagonal preferred.)
9. Use cover or concealment as much as possible.
10. Flank your adversary when possible. Protect yours.
11. Always cheat; always win. The only unfair fight is the one youlose.
12. In ten years nobody will remember the details of caliber, stance, or tactics. They will only remember who lived.
13. If you are not shooting, you should be communicating yourintention to shoot.
Navy SEAL's Rules:
1. Look very coolin sunglasses.
2. Kill every living thing within view.
3. Adjust Speedo.
4. Check hair in mirror.
US Army Rangers Rules:
1.Walk in 50 miles wearing 75 pound rucksack while starving.
2. Locate individuals requiring killing.
3. Request permission via radio from 'Higher' to perform killing.
4. Curse bitterly when mission is aborted.
5. Walk out 50 miles wearing a 75 pound rucksack while starving.
US Army Rules:
1. Curse bitterly when receiving operational orders.
2. Make sure there is extra ammo and extra coffee.
3. Curse bitterly.
4. Curse bitterly.
5. Do not listen to 2nd LTs; it can get you killed.
6. Curse bitterly.
US Air Force Rules:
1. Have a cocktail.
2. Adjust temperature onair-conditioner.
3. See what's on HBO.
4. Ask 'What is a gunfight?'
5. Request more funding from Congress with a 'killer' Power Pointpresentation.
6. Wine & dine ''key' Congressmen, invite DOD & defenseindustry executives.
7. Receive funding, set up new command and assemble assets.
8. Declare the assets 'strategic' and never deploy themoperationally.
9. Hurry to make 13:45 tee-time.
10. Make sure the base is as far as possible from the conflict butclose enough to have “combat tax” exemption.
US Navy Rules:
1. Go to Sea.
2. Drink Coffee.
3. Deploy Marines
And the next... (You've got to love the military, and God blessthem all.)
U.S. Navy Directive 16134 ( Inappropriate T-Shirts )
The following directive was issued by the commanding officer ofall naval installations in the Middle East.
(It was obviously directed at the Marines.)

I still say that napalm should have a 10% pork fat component. Be nice if a strike zone smelled like bacon
As a matter of fact, I DO own a S.S. Revolver in .44 spl.... 3" bbl, adj sights, similar to Pachmeyer grips. Rossi called it a M72D. Heavy rib, full underlug 5 shot. White outline & red ramp sights. Never needed anything except oil & ammo. Lives in my nightstand, it's job is to get me to the Mossberg 590-A1. Glasers & GoldDots.
For fun, it goes to the range with 429-421's & 6.0 gr of Red Dot. Shoots better than I can hold it, but as a pair we don't do "too bad"".....
Even used it to embarass a Texas cousin. In front of about 6 of his buddies, all picking on the "Yankee" from IL....

44 < 45.
Just like 9 < 10.
I have a stainless .45 like the one below, it's a convertible .45 Colt and .45 ACP:
Yep, .45 is just plain bigger than .44:

The famous .45 Colt next to the "special" .44 special.
Isn't that special?

Thank you, Unkle. Your distinction/correction is indeed applicable to this situation.

Unkle, your unusual lack of situational awareness in your post surprises me!
When is this thread NEVER a "Pick on the .40 Short & Weak" thread?
