Funny.... the deer here just got frustrated with getting their hearts broken all the time so they just learned to look both ways and cross when it's safe. I can't remember the last time a deer got it, and this island is loaded with them... BIG Black Tails.

Shoulda got a Nobel Prize for business or something.
Something to remember: If a genetically mutant deer comes along that has developed opposable thumbs, it will set up a "human stand" alongside the pavement, line up his 30-ought-six (hey, he's an American deer), and blow away that damn gizmo that annoys his brother deer so much!

Obamy, will probably provide the said genetically mutant deer with citizenship, welfare and health care too!

Now about "The Gizmo" (me and my other alius) I'll be on the look out!

No need to worry about the mutant deer becoming a burden on the public dole. Any deer that can operate a thirty-ought-six will occupy a useful place in the Dungeon hierarchy.

That's all well and fine, but Obamy needs to buy votes!

At the urging of his wife, a good friend up in MI put a set of those "deer chaser" thingies on his car. Hadn't had an incident in over 30 yrs. driving, both LP & UP......
week after he puts them on, gets a 8 point buck......with the BUICK !!
Told wife he was crafting them into earings for her !

I loved the scene in Crocodile Dundee when the kangaroo shot up the city boy campsite.

Yes, but since they are below the equator, they mount them facing the DRIVER!

All this talk about deer and my BIL's father hit a buck with the company truck today! I spent the morning skinning, cutting it up and packing it in ice. He had to go for the urine testing as per company policy! OH well meat for the freezer!

The Dungeon Scam Crew ... Whoops! ... the Dungeon Scientific Formulation & Implementation Authority ... is intrigued by your handling of the deer situation.

In one of the quosted posts, you had mentioned that a urine test was necessary after this "collision". After your disection of the deer, how did you keep the bladder content at a temperature suitable for fooling the testing personnel into believing that the urine sample was scientifically acceptable per the applicable professional criteria?

The DSFIA is always alert to add useful techniques to its professional repertoire.

Not to be confused with the Dungeon Engineering Crew.

Ya'll can keep the bladder and urine sample testing stuff.

We don't want to run any risks confusing them with N*pple Sweat production samples.

No need to be concerned. The Dungeon runs a Bio-level containment setup so superb that CDC has said it could use our facilities as a backup site if the government costcutters ever get too ruthless on the CDC budgets. So we have the bladder/urine containment situation nicely controlled.

Actually, more a Chemical CONVERSION Degree. After all, engineering requires some measure of resourcefulness and formal training, and most of the people who do this liquid transition are pretty much self-taught.
