I apologize for violating decorum with the back-to-bac post. However, i find myself in a bit of a quandary that may be best presented to a group of experts...

Topic: The appropriate beer for the season...

Nearly May. Trees are full o' bloom. Usually that implies a nice Spring seasonal ale. However it has been snowing today and accordingly my biorhyhms are a little out of whack. Is it bad form to go with a Winter ale at this point? Probably not too fresh and everyone knows that it is unfashionable to drink Jubleale after St. Patrick's day.

That quandry can be easily solved.

Drinking Crown Royal is appropriate at any time, and should be practiced on a regular basis.

The full services of the Dungeon Doubletalk Detachment are placed at your disposal.

Figure it this way:
1) What beer do you WANT to drink right now?
2) The Dungeon apparatus will provide a suitable justification for that particular beer. (Hey, service like this is what we draw our 39% cut of the take for!)

The service is what keeps me coming back here.

Now... a fall-back position is just about any IPA brewed in the Pacific Northwest.

I await justification, rationalization, or even an excuse. Let me just grab a frosty mug from the freezer. Mmmm.

A nomenclature note: in the 10-Ring, "fall-back position" has another less complimentary meaning within the inebriated 10-Ring membership (pardon my redundancy).

Hmmm ... You may be correct. The Dungeon Doubletalk Detachment will take this issue under consideration after we return from sneaking into the weekend Lagoon partying ... Whoops! ... I mean, after we return from discharging our onerous administrative duties.

Yup, I've got a Lazy Boy on my wish list. It's down below a diesel powered car, some guns, a half dozen new toys and a bunch of ammo.... but it's there.

Rabbi, given the estimated 2 BILLION people who saw the Royal wedding of Kitty Middelton and whoever that stuffy british twit is, did we (10Ring, LLC) have any PRODUCT PLACEMENT at the wedding ? Or did we step on our PP's & blow a PERFECT chance for some free publicity & a chance to increase our skimmin......er.....our commission income ?

There's another Pippi?
The 10 Ring

Oh, you mean Pippa. Why didn't you say so.

Unkle, we went with a longshot on the product placement, and we hit the jackpot! Kate, Pippa, AND their dresses were all rated as 10's by most of that 2 billion people tuning in. So we hit the perfecta of the billion salacious guys (pardon my redundancy) that had the hots for Pippa (and Kate by association, even though Pippa was in the sleek show-little-but-imply-much costume, which makes Kate look hot as part of the presentation while still filling the demure proper role in the proceedings), AND the female billion who appreciate the twosome's fashion judgement. Two billion minds thinking about "10"! The Dungeon Marketing types are proud of this one!

"Badges? We don't need no steenkin' badges!"

Forgive me for another use of that probably overworked line, but I believe all the wisdom of the world can be found within the movies "Blazing Saddles" and "Casablanca".
