Actually, Tater, the newly published (and royally fouled up) NBA schedule may have raised the bar for commending conduct on THIS website. All NBA teams must play at least one "three games in three days" sequence; some teams must play THREE of those sequences. Following their example, perhaps we should withhold endurance compliments until the NBA example has been matched. Unjust, perhaps, but the world CAN be a cruel place.

but who really cares about the NBA ?
It's not llike it's something important like say, the USPSA nationals, or a GSSF weekend, or even NASCAR.....

I concur with your thinking. Unfortunately, the nba DOES have a following among the common-rabble-9-and-40-shooter crowd. Comparison between OUR endurance and the basketball league endurance is therefore inevitable, even if unjustified. In a sense, we 10-Ringers must keep up our image in comparison, even though this necessity is unjust.

Not a sport......
as per Hemmingway,
"The only sports are auto racing, bullfighting & mountain climbing. All others are merely adults playing children's games"
Or the other quote, not sure whose,
"Why racing ? Because all other sports only require 1 ball"
lets see here...
go-karts, snowmobiles, S.C.C.A. sports cars, short track stockers, demo derby, dirt bikes, N.H.R.A. drag racing, yeah, uncle has tweaked a throttle a little bit.

He probably should have included power drinking in his list of favorite sports.
By that standard, us 10-Ringers are elite athletes.

NBA = Nothing But Aggravation
Here in Indy, the downtown restaurants and bars are heaving sighs of relief that they will get 33 home games, even though they don't get the full 41. A fair number of the little people find those NBA games useful.

No, I AM the game.
Consider yourself lucky if you happen to score a point or two.

Sure, that snowman LOOKS pristine, demure, and innocent, but we know that INSIDE beats the heart of a standard-issue 10-Ring salacious sleazeball ... (pardon my redundancy)

Well pardon my Rookie move; Thin, bony hands & cold twiggy fingers! However I would have had Russian Hands and Roman Fingers had she selected this outfit!
Either way INSIDE beats the heart of a standard-issue 10-Ring salacious sleazeball ... (pardon your redundancy)

The seasoned veterans of the Dungeon Salacious Behavior Protocol Detachment have asked me to point out: Mastery of gracious dignified methods of copping a feel is a vital survival skill for a guy to have in his behavior arsenal. From Geesie's comment, it seems bony-handed snowman has mastered this important aspect of interpersonal interaction.
