Last week, Japanese scientists placed explosive detonators at the bottom of Lake Loch Ness to blow Nessie out of the water. Sir Cort Godfrey of the Nessie Alliance summoned the help of Scotland's local wizards to cast a protective spell over the lake and its local residents and all those who seek for the peaceful existence of our underwater ally.

It was a belt-fed G20 with marine cups....

Blow through supercharger on a car with enough body panels replaced that it might be a funny car. On the otherhand, it comes from Bullman's personal photobucket account.
I'm unsure of what this is and want more information.
Who owned this car?
Did you get to drive it?
Was a pair of Depends required equipment for the driver?
and of course, the typical specifics (Make, Model, C.I.D., horsepower, 1/4 mile E.T. etc.).

Inquiring gearhead minds want to know.

If you watch the movies "Mad Max" and "The Road Warrior" you will know about all I know about the car.

Actually I do know more, it is an Australian 1972 Ford Falcon XB Coupe, and as one of my phone ringtones tells me, "She sucks nitro, phase 4 heads, twin overhead cams, 600 horsepower through the wheels" the car ended up being the wheels issued to one Max Rockatansky, aka Mad Max. The supercharger is in the movie a faker of some sort, because your supposed to be able to turn it on and off, which in reality wouldn't work very well.

The front end was some sort of Monza fabrication of some sort and it had some spoilers and zoomies.

Australian in orign 'ey. That explains a lot. Just like their animals, their cars evolved in a uniquely Oz direction.

Yeah, the idea of putting a clutch pulley (like a cars air conditioner) onto a supercharger initially seems to be a big winner. On further analysis, the engine would either be overboosted with the supercharger on or anemically low in compression with the blower off. ..... probably both .....

Detail note.....
I didn't include Steve McQueen in my list, because he was actually a far better 2 WHEEL driver than a 4 wheeler !
Also....for the homework assignment:
Not only does the Charger lose 5 hubcaps, if you watch real close, it DOESN'T crash, but rather goes THRU the gas depot.
In fact, after the filming was over, both the Charger & the 'Stang were sold at a studio prop auction, and both exist in private collections (with documentation) today.
Also, the scene where McQueen misses the turn & smokes the tires in reverse......
THAT, kiddies, was an "OOOOOPSS" on S.M.'s part, he wasn't supposed to miss it, he overshot his braking point !
But it looked so good that they left it in !

It worked out well. Nothing like completely shredding a set of bias ply tires.

Hmmmmm ... I think it may be appropriate for the 10-Ring Resort inhabitants to address the aforementioned cabana boy as "You lucky bastard!"

Have you been watching Godzilla re-runs again?

The 10 Ring

Godzilla would kick the Loch Ness monster's ass and steal his lunch.
Nessie just floats around, playing hide and seek with tourists, but Godzilla is a seasoned combat veteran with numerous victories against the Japanese Air Force.

Besides, the Loch Ness monster doesn't really exist.

Not to mention Mothra, Rodan and Matthew Broderick.
It makes me want to dress up in a dinosaur suit and kick over a bunch of cardboard buildings just thinking about it.

Geesie rarely jokes. Prepare for the worst (which, of course, in this case is the best!)
