Wow! I'm moving up in the world! Once I was Chamber Sink Scum. Then I was promoted to Chamber Floor Sweepings. Now I have moved up to Chamber Sludge! Perhaps, with effort, I may someday achieve the esteemed rank of Chamber Floor CLEANER.

Duty requires that I interrupt my Chamber Punishment Sequence to address an important 10-Ring administrative issue. This issue is the approaching DOUBLE celebration.

The approaching 400th page will be celebrated at the START of the 400th page. The approaching 10,000th post celebration will commence at the END of the 400th page. These two celebrations, while not simultaneous, are timed closed enough together to cause certain administrative and endurance considerations worth addressing.

The Dungeon types can carry the admin load supporting this big double event with only a minimal temporary increase in the embezzlement percentage. We also stand ready to instantly assist any 10-Ringers who experience any stamina lapse while celebrating ths unprecedented party sequence. We anticipate no problems in maintaining the NS supply, since Eng15 has done exemplary work in increasing production capacity to meet celebration requirements.

Be of good cheer, Bull. The 10-Ring Resort Medical Center is on full mobilization alert for the upcoming blowouts. They will have full blood monitoring/filtration gear set up. Tazz may not realize that his favored Swedish Bikini Team has a good representation of Registered Nurses, and are fully qualified to administer medical treatment to salacious 10-Ringers (pardon my redundancy) even while raising the members' ... morale.

IMPORTANT 10-RING FACILITY PROTOCOL ISSUE

Forgive me the faux pau of two consecutive posts, but my transitional status within the 10-Ring makes me check with the long-time 10mm faithful with an important protocol question. The .40S&W snapcap scandal from a few years ago prompts my caution.

At the Indy gunshow this weekend, all firearms at our tables are rendered temporarily unable to discharge a cartridge. This is done either with a reduced firing pin, or with safe-t-stix. I will have several of my 10mm Glocks as part of our Armorer's setup. I wish to secure them with safe-t-stix. The only suitable sticks commercially available are labelled with .40 markings. These .40 sticks will do the job in the 10mm firearms, but they do, to some extent, profane the noble 10mm caliber with that demeaning .40 caliber label. So my question: Will the 10mm faithful forgive my lapse in using .40-labelled safe-t-stix in my 10mm firearms? I emphasize, I am considering this heinous act ONLY for compelling safety reasons.

Thank you for interrupting your partying to consider this issue.

My lawyers advise that you will state in the future that the .40 was a misprint from the factory. In point of fact, said devices were indeed 10mm.
Next Q?

The Dungeon Engineering Crew can engineer a solution . . . .

Lawyers?

That's gonna slow things down.

I don't think the phased plasma label changer in the 40 watt range is gonna pass liability criteria. . .

i vote a variance in this instance (but not a precedential one, mind you!), provided the stix themselves aren't labelled and that no member of the public is made aware of their true nomenclature and the reputation of the 10 is manitained (sammi's rep is not at issue here, he is "beneath reproach").

The Dungeon doubletalk crews are grateful to the participating 10-Ringers for their assistance in moderating the detrimental associative effect of using 40 caliber safe-t-stix in my esteemed 10mm firearms at this weekend's gun show. With your efforts, complemented by certain creative initiatives by the LSPS(BBB)DP's, we Dungeon types feel ready to take on anyone about anything at any time whatsoever over this weekend.

In the future,. the .40 S&W shall be henceforth known as the "10MM short".
In it's history & development, that is what it really is, so it shall be called by it's proper name.

We could call it 10mm kurz, that would give it a sort of European (read gay ) flavor to it.

Bull, it's sounding like it's time to get the Sheriff out shooting & turn him into a gun-guy instead of a desk jockey !
