hah ... funny you should mention that. I just posted it yesterday in the 'obscure knowledge' thread.

That was before I ever registered though. I lurked for some time before I got so fed up with someone's stupidity that I had to register an account so I could fire back with my own.

I didn't discover GT till '05, so I missed a lot. Have still seen a lot in the time I've been here and watched many come and go - some not of their own volition. Always an enjoyable place to poke about, though.

This! Gunkid. I followed him here from the now defunct "SHOOTER'S" site. He went by several alias over there, "Hardin" was one of the outstanding ones. My favorite thread of his at the time concerned a semi auto pistol that he had used "resin" to modify the frame. He pocket carried it, and when he went out and about he kept his hand on the gun, ready to draw "at all times." He also claimed to rescue dogs from the pound to test out calibers and loads.

Over here, who was the young Asian boy with the Kimber? "Tom somebody?" Can't remember.

Professor Moriarty. Sixgun_Symphony. The supposed Brit cop chick who carried a G17, once beat an intruder with a bat, and like to go clubbing wearing a short "school girl" skirt. Limeycop?

Michigun with his double G34 shoulder rig. "The police fear me."

Good times.

Yes. I was banned. And I was kinda hurt, not really sure what I had done.

I also remember, one alcohol fuel Sat. night, everyone started posting random and SILLY pics. I think it ran 30 pages or so before being shut down.

You chewed out all the participants, me included, really good the next morning.

G.I. Joe's hands were molded so they couldn't hold a rifle, hand grenade, or even a pistol.

(What WERE they thinking?)

LOL...I remember the mag scam and how I was pissed initially I didn't have the funds to get in on it. I also remember browsing on weekend many years ago and everyone was amazed there were 400 people on the site at the same time.
