Exactly!

I guess it makes sense. It would be weird to have gravity stop and then 8 min later the sun goes BLINK. They should happen simultaneously. But it was the first time it ever was presented that way.

The video/show was trying to explain the "why" behind why light is limited by a speed. I didn't quite get that part. They used Minecraft to demonstrate it.

In addition, elevator operator Betty Lou Oliver was injured when rescuers decided to transport her on an elevator that they did not know had weakened cables. She survived a plunge of 75 stories, which still stands as the Guinness World Record for the longest survived elevator fall.

Forget that one. I read recently that the people in your dreams are real people you've encountered before. There are no brain-made people. Your "photographic memory" saves them and uses them in dreams.

I have but 2 questions:

1. We don't have photographic memory - how do we remember those faces so well?

2. HOW THE HELL DO YOU PROVE OR DISPROVE THAT ONE!?!?!?!?!?!?! It was a very strange fact that one has to wonder if it's just pure BS theory being put forth as fact.

Most people have heard of the famous "Terra Cotta Army" buried alongside China's first Emperor, Qin Shi Huang, but most people don't understand the sheer scale of the Emperor's still largely unearthed tomb. In addition to the 8,000 or so soldiers, horsemen, charioteers, archers and other life-sized statues that comprise the First Emperor's private army of the afterlife, there is a massive necropolis surrounding the Emperor's tomb itself. This necropolis has offices, a palace, stables, walls with gates, barracks and even a 'war room' with a scale map of China and over 100 rivers, all acuurately depicted with veins of mercury. All for the Emperor's use in the afterlife.

The Emperor's tomb itself is roughly the size of a football field and appears to have been hermetically sealed - and still intact. It has not been excavated yet due to concerns over how delicate artifacts within will react to being exposed to humidity and atmoshere once the tomb is opened, but the contents of the tomb and necropolis are fairly well understood based on writings of historians who lived at the time and had knowledge of the necropolis's construction (around 290BC).

It is estimated that nearly 700,000 workers spent 30+ years constructing the tomb, necropolis and army for the Emperor, making it a construction effort that dwarfs even the great pyramid at Giza.

This is an outrage. We NEED to do something about this. Maybe we can get corporate sponsorship.

We should at least be able to get this number up to 1%.

Popular internet rumor, but not true. Small planes typically aren't named, and the plane that Valens, Big Bopper, and Holly died im was only known as N3794N.

Don McLean himself said in 1999:

"The growing urban legend that "American Pie" was the name of Buddy Holly’s plane the night it crashed, killing him, Ritchie Valens and the Big Bopper, is equally untrue. I created the term."

1. Nor will there be. Domesticating animals has more to do with their disposition than ours. A good documentary is Guns Germs and Steel.

2. How many of those workers SELL the shoes? Mike gets paid because he puts feet in the sneakers.

3. Maybe we can get penguins to sell Nike's.

Penguins can't jump. They can only "jump" by launching themselves out of the water, like fish. By this definition whales can jump higher than anybody. And how about flying fish?
