My new Sig M11-A1

Just got back from contract work in Afghanistan so decided to get myself another toy, a Sig M11-A1. Now I'm retired Navy pilot but I never carried the M11, just the M9 but I got to shoot the M11-A1 at the range, loved it, especially the SRT trigger. No range time until this weekend.

Thank you for your service.

Congrats on your new pistol. It does compliment your 226.

Thank you very much for your service to this (formerly) great country.

I love SIG's, but why do they put that little decal on the dust cover of the M11's?
Personally, I think it detracts from the overall appeal of the gun.

Still, it's hard to beat a SIG.

Regards,
AK

From Sig's website:

Upgraded with a stainless steel slide, a Short Reset Trigger and three 15 round flush fit magazines, the M11-A1 variant features the same phosphate coated internals, SIGLITE® night sights and MIL-STD UID label of the standard-issue M11.

So they put the M11 sticker on it even though it's not an M11?

Kinda ghey.
