I need help. Water pumps, timers.
I'm going to build a contraption to help with heat. I'm going to put a 55gal drum outside, and super insulate it all the way around.
I'll put a small solar water heater on top. And run a flexible plastic line inside, and give it a few loops under my bed, basically.
The idea will be the solar spends the day heating the water which gets stored in the insulated drum.
Then, depending on how much hot water I have, the heat will be bled off under the bed. Or more likely, a couple hours before it is time to get up, the hot water will start circulating under the bed so that when it is time to get up I am comfortably warm.
I'll need a couple pumps, thermostats, solenoids, and a timer or 2.
Where do I start to find my components? Where do I go to get an education about flow rates and stuff?

For too long people have said "screw NY, IL, etc" or "that'll never happen here." Yes, it will eventually. If we dont start standing up together now, it will never stop.-ilgunguygt
