Disappointed in my new G34 gen4

I have had it for about three weeks now and have not experiences any problems.

800 rounds of mixed ammo, ball, HP's Bonded, 124 -147 grain. Everything fed, fired and ejected as expected. Ejected brass ended up in a neat pile about three feet to the right.

The only change I made was I swapped the factory sights for Sevigny Carry sights. Perhaps the extra weight of the steel sights help stabilize the pistol.

Sorry to hear that. I'm sure Glock will fix it for you.

Congrats.

Actually I am. This pistol has been a joy to shoot. I have had several Glocks over the years, and still have a third generation G35 & G21. But this G34 Gen4 is a hoot!

All kidding aside, I am pleased with my new pistol, but I appreciate the frustration of having a new pistol that is less than 100%

My G-19 does not do that... is this only a problem with the G34

Good to hear yours is making you happy. I could be quite happy with a G34 and G26 as my only Glocks.

Look at that pic above. Crappy ejection. That brass hardly traveled an inch from the gun.

I hate to see one disappointed so I suggest you send that Glock to me to alleviate that disappointment and to forget it; and get on with your life

Everything in life should work like my Glocks do!

My 3rd Gen G17 has 20,000 + rounds through it, since I purchased it in June 2006, using all manner of ammo, and hasn't so much as hiccupped!

Congrats to the OP!

Mine just ejects straight back. I hate it.
I will sell it soon and let someone else eff with it.

Congratulations on the G34. Inspired me to take the time to go to the range yesterday and I took my G17 and G34 (both GEN 4 ODG). Shot Winchester and PMC ball/range ammo and Hornady Critical Defense. No malfunctions at all although a few shells did actually hit my back. Not sure if it flipped over my shoulder or hit the side of the stall and bounced back (indoor range). I don't remember if it happened using the G17 or G34 but I'll pay more attention next time. Wasn't really close to my face so not a problem.

I DO think I'm in love with the G34. Sure would like to find one in FDE (G34 GEN 4) and I know Lipsey's is making another batch of them but not sure if the G34 is on the list.
