Put a glove on, load it up full and let it sit for a few days. The spring will get weaker and it will get easier after a while. Be glad it's strong and holds what it's supposed to.

I unscrewed the mag tube and pulled out a cap that had a plug and put the cap back on the spring... it made loading the shells easier with less retention but he said i should be able to put a 6th round instead of just 5 rounds but wasnt able too... You think i should keep the plug out or put it back in

Had the same problem loading new Glock mags and a pump shotgun. It will pass.

I had a not-so-great day. When I read this, this stupid clip came into my head. Thanks! I needed a laugh.

Buy a couple 25 shell boxes of that cheap Estate 00 buck and 1 or 2 100rd value packs of target loads from Walmart and shoot the crap out of it. It practically took 2 hands to cycle my 590A1 when it was new. Runs like butter now and I've got less than 300rds through it

What kind of shotgun are we talking about? If it had a plug, it would limit you to 3 shells. This plug about the length of a pen? If not, put it back in.

It was probobly the length of maybe 2 inch and a quarter... it originally comes from factory 5+1...

Stevens 320 with ghost rings... Paid $200 out the door... Wanna see how much abuse this can withstand... plus dicks give lifetime warranty so you cant beat it...Decided to leave the plug in cause it still holds 5+1 and ive loaded and unloaded a few times and it got easier...
