Rust on magazine

While I enjoy without any problems my G31 4th Gen, I do dislike the rust which is building up on the magazine metal.

General Glocking

I would expect a little better material there so the magazine would not rust thought eventually!

That does not look great but I would guess that you still have a few years of use of that magazine.

If it bothers you send them back to Glock, they'll replace them.

In what environment do you use and store your magazines?

I have a 2012 G31 Gen 4 with seven magazines and they all look brand new without any preservation efforts being exerted on them at all. The same applies to all my other Glock magazines, some as much as 16 years old.

Forgive me, but you're not using one of those absurdly strong solvents on this stuff, are you?

As was alluded to, are you carrying/storing these in a marine environment at all?

If "no" to any of the above, it would bug me too! I agree with Tony--send them back!
