Bluegrass XVI - Who's Coming?

Hello everyone!!! Everything is coming together for the 16th year at the Bluegrass Regional Classic in Wilmore, KY. We have some award winning BBQ that will be served both Sat. and Sun. for lunch. Can't wait to see you all at the match. We are expecting a great turn out as always.

If anyone is interested in helping as staff at the match to offset travel and ammo costs...shoot me a message at:
kygssf@gmail.com

Everyone travel safe and see you on the range!!!

Several of us will be coming over from the Ashland Gun Club. We always enjoy shooting at the Bluegrass Range. We're jealous, but we enjoy shooting there.

I looked at the calendar wrong and showed up last weekend. Lucky for me I had some other stuff with me and was able to shoot while I was there. Won't make the trip again in October for GSSF. Wish I could but it's too far to make trip 3 times in 3 months.

16? Already?

I haven't been on for a few years, thought I would say Hi!
I finally retired (for good) and was putting my 22P up on the Collectors Thread.
Any Bluegrass I, II, or III vets still head in to the BGSL? Look me up, I'll be working a stage someplace.

I was shooting there in 94. Shot before USPSA and IDPA. Shot IPSC Matches when we only had one stage and had a tent for a clubhouse. Just about everybody shot a 1911 loaded with H&Gs' 68 and everybody helped. I so miss those days.

I guess one of my favorite matches at AGC was when they built a replica section of the USS Missouri. Under Siege was out, and they spent a lot of time on that prop!

Was fortunate then being able to shoot the .38S Race Gun and a 1911.

Yes, I too miss those days!!

I'll be there with at least one other shooter. Coming down on Sunday but I won't have time to work (other than assisting with the targets while waiting to shoot).

Wife is curious how the shopping is around there.

Looking forward to seeing everyone. I will head to the range shortly to start getting everything set-up. Safe travels to everyone. Should be another great year!!

AJE: The shopping is good, Exit 108 is Hamburg Area and has every store you can imagine..not a mall...just everything in one place. The Lexington Mall is at the corner of Route 4 and 27, and then you can take 27 on out to the range.

If anyone needs anything...send me an email and I will do my best to help.

Like all great plans this one fell apart. Our friends in Paducah are coming here for a family emergency. So we will not be going also.
