G30 9 Round Mag - Not Discontinued per Glock

After having difficulties finding 9 round mags for my G30 and reading multiple sources that state these have been discontinued by Glock, I emailed Glock today for confirmation. Customer service responded to my email in a prompt two hours with the following statement:

"The 9 round magazines have not been discontinued. The retailers simply need to place orders to their distributors. They are in production."

So it looks like they are still making them. Just not fast enough I guess. Anyone found any retailers that have had them in stock recently?

Interesting...I just checked one of my distributors, and they do list the 9rd 45acp magazine in the catalog. Of course, like all Glock mags, they are out of stock.

Checked another distributor, same thing...listed, but out of stock.

Very interesting - hopefully some will start flowing eventually.

FWIW, Glockmeister and Glock Store both said over the phone that they couldn't even backorder then because Glock was not shipping them anymore.

I had all .45s Glocks the 36, 30, 21 sold them to stay with 1911 in .45 only, then a Sig 220 came along, now thinking of a 30s, have holsters mags etc.

Funny had no .45s, just 9mm, .40, and .357 sig, then picked up my first 1911(sr911 CMD), and quickly became a .45 fan.

Now all my ammo is mainly 9mm and .45 that i buy. When carrying the Ruger, at almost 42 ounces, thinking of the 30S with 2 more rounds and about 12 ounces less, makes too much sense.

I just bought 2 of them two weeks ago at a gun shop. I don't know how long they were there. They were the only 2 they had. A little expensive at 30$ each. But after looking at eBay prices I don't feel so bad.

They do not have any in stock. Approximately 2-3 months before they'll have any.

Just throwing this out there.
A couple of weeks ago I was at a gun shop and he had one. But his price was $34.99. I didn't have the cash with me so I didn't pick it up.
If anyone's really interested I can call him and see if he still has it. But straight-up it's going to cost you $60. It's an hour away (diesel in a Power-stroke 4x4) and shipping (for the original 48).
IF anyone is interested I can call him to see if he still has it. Just PM me.

How about you just give the name and/or number to the place and we'll save you the trip and you won't even have to go to the post office to ship it.
