I owned a triple stack handgun years ago. Do not recall the brand. Wish I still had it. Mag was not in the grip, but ahead of the grip, like an AR. Tripple stack AR mags are pretty sweet.

I have an undercover informant that works in the GLock R&D dept. He assures me that it's going to be a single stack, 1911 style polymer framed .500 S&W with a built in laser and MP3 player!

I received my Glock G42 today. As an official Glock Beta-Tester I have to say this is the coolest thing Glock has come out with in years. I can't wait to get it to the range this afternoon.
