Will it be a blow-back ?

Will it be a blow-back if it is a .380 ? I think the G25 and G28 is a blow-back with a fixed barrel but I am not sure. If so I am interested at how it would detail strip . What do you guys think ?

Of course, I didn't say there wasn't a market... just that I don't get the love for them. To each their own, of course.

I doubt it would be blow-back since Ruger,Kel-Tec,Beretta,S&W,Sig and so forth can make the carry specific .380s with a tilting barrel.

I find it funny that Beretta fans are excited for the Pico .380 even though it looks top heavy with a high bore axis and Glock fans don't want Glock to share in the pocket .380 market for current and future people who will carry conceal.

I'll bet if it's a tiny .380, they'll be hard pressed to keep up with demand.

I just hope it's a 9mm. The pocket .380 craze already morphed into the pocket 9mm craze a while ago.

I just haven't seen a pocket 9 that would actually fit in my pocket. If I have to wear it on my hip I'll just keep carrying my 19. A pocket .380 however would actually fit in my pocket. An would be nice when I have to dress up.

While we're speculating and wishing I'll wish it was a 19 size pistol chambered for 22 TCM.. VERY cool little cartridge with small recoil impulse and big energy.

The DB 9 does. Too bad it is a huge POS.

A 9mm Glock the size of a Sig P938 would be great! I'd buy one for sure.

A double stack doesn't have to be very thick.
It's all about how you stagger the rounds.
6-7 staggered will keep it thin and short.

i believe it. well everything but the part about an external safety... i think the sun would stop burning before that would ever happen. lol. in theory it seems more plausible if they were ever going to introduce an external safety of some sort, it would be on a duty sized gun imo. to capture more l.e. sales etc. to departments that mandate external safetys. a "pocket" gun and there first external safety? i dont see it.

Looking at my Zippo and comparing the picture to it, it would be a jumpy 9mm if it's to scale. I'd like them to come out with a 9mm in a Shield/XDS size, but a small slim .380 size 9mm, no thanks.

The only thing that comes close is a Kimber Solo which is picky with ammo , quite jumpy in the hand and has a recoil spring assembly that has a very short life span.

I've yet to have anyone point out a pocket 9mm the size of a .380 in length, height AND width. I've tried the pocket game with a Shield, XDS, G26,LC9, PF9 and other slim 9mm pistols and no way could I do it comfortably. I know I'm not the only one either.

If this is true this Glock would look like the Diamondback .380... I hope Glock does not have the same problems as Diamondback did.

That's because Beretta already has a small single stack 9mm, not to mention a CARBINE!

Yeah, sorry about the thumb safety thing. I was trying to stir up trouble.

Though I'm not a fan of the battery of arms, check out the Sig P938. Almost indentical in size to the P238. Very impressive pistol. Also, while a bit bigger, give the Beretta Nano a shot. Or, if the GLOCK 42 is a 9x19, then just buy it and call it a day. Haha.

I like the idea of a .380. I think a glock in 5.7x28 would a lot of fun to shoot.
