Seen Yamaha's shameless copy of the Sportster?

Wow, that is about as bold as you can get with copying someone else's design...

Harley only has a trademark on the oil leak... Yamaha won't be infringing on that.

Now that's just not helpful at all.

All one can hope for is that performance isn't identical.

If that was a true copy, Yamaha would have moved the exhaust and primary to the wrong side also. HH

I saw one of those on the street last week. My thoughts were the same, it looked like a sportster but it wasn't a sportster. And it was quiet.

73% of all Harley's ever sold are still on the road. The rest of them were able to make it home safely

It's impossible to ride around and sound like a d-bag on the Yamaha.

I've been thinking about getting another, smaller bike again. My '06 Stratoliner Midnight has been a great bike (much more powerful & better handling than my previous Road Star Midnight). I just miss having a smaller bike for shorter rides, especially around the coastal towns.

Might have to look at an improved mid-size iron.

I like this better than the Sportster, must be because they did a much better job on this one.

I have a Harley fat bob. I test drove a Kawasaki Vulcan 1700 yesterday that looks just like a Road Glide. Damn nice bike. I may get something besides a Harley next time.

I've seen some drag queens that look just like women. I wouldn't want to ride them either.

Sad part about it is I'm sure the Yamaha has better brakes, suspension and a several more HP.

Buy what you want.
Ride what you want.
But ride don't just own.

Having said that;
What is the difference between a Harley and a hunting dog?

A hunting dog can get in the bed of your pick up by it's self.
