HR2818: Thoughts?

Called the Surveillance State Repeal Act, it's theoretically supposed to repeal the PATRIOT Act and the FISA amendments. What do you all think? Reckon it has a chance of passing? Or that the government would be slowed at all in their shredding of the COTUS?

Not a chance.

Congress is a mob made up of control freaks and psychopaths. If your waiting for them to do something that limits their power, your gonna be waiting a while.

Pretty much what everyone else said.

I would love to see the Patriot Act and the NDAA repealed. I doubt it will happen any time soon.

I believe they had a chance to defund it earlier this year. They cruised through that checkpoint.
