Well the only models not available in Gen4 yet are the 36, 38 and 39.
I'm guessing once they are released, focus will shift to Gen4 and more Gen3 models will start being dropped.

My guess is, those models will be released by or at SHOT 2014.

They probably never sold enough to make the commitment of still turning them out meaningful.

I wish I had more than the one I have.

Since they will be going for over a grand now on the secondary market.

Finally someone with insider knowledge of Glock's sales figures. What is the breakdown of their total sales by model number?

No idea. Only the percentage of C model sales compared to overall sales was offered.

What about the supposed idea on the internet that the Gen 3 Glock would stay around in order to be sold in the Republic of California. If Glock going to discontinue sales in the sunshine state? Doubt it.

Well this guarantees I will be hanging on to my 2007 manufacture G30. I wonder how long it will take for Glock to start phasing out other models of the Gen 3 line.

The cutout on the G34/G35 was for weight saving to better distribute the weight to the back of the pistol since the slide is so long. To the best of my knowledge, the G17L, G34, and G35 were the only non compensated models produced with a cutout in the top of the slide.

A bit of drift... Does that one have a rail? I would love to find one of the older G30's without the rail.

Gen3 G30 standard frame pistols manufactured before June, 2005 do not have an accessory rail. The Gen3 G30 pistols built after that time, with serial number prefix HGM and later, have the rail.

Oh the humanity! Lets face it, we don't need no guns here in kali! Gov Moonbeam and the three communist mother hens that run this state would like nothing better.

Some early Gen1 G17L models were also ported. See post#7 in the thread linked below for details and photos:

Absolutely no need for a compensated 9mm. They don't kick anyway, and you would just lose velocity. My daughers have shot G19's since they were ten. Now a .357 Sig or a 10mm might be another story.

I would. If it gets discontinued you certainly won't lose any money.

Glock cancellation of C models & G20/21 and G29/30 standard frame models??

"GLOCK compensated (C) models, as well as the G20/21 and G29/30 standard frame models will be discontinued by GLOCK in January 2014"

This was posted on Glockmeisters Facebook page like 2 hours ago, any truth to this lol?
