Can the Vikings beat the Browns this week??

Ok
Here's the deal, I'm in a last man standing pool at work, (completely legal one) and I'm on the fence about this weeks pic.
If you check the Vegas line, Seattle will be the #1 pic for sure. However, I'd kind of like to sit on them for obvious reasons. I've done some homework on other games, but unfortunately I used my Denver pick in week 1. I feel like the Vikes have a pretty good shot against Cleveland at home, but really don't feel that strong about it.
I try extremely hard to look at the games logically, and I was also considering taking the Bills over the Jets.

Here's my dilemma.....
I am a Vikes fan, and have extremely bad luck when picking my own team. I live near Buffalo, and they screw me constantly too...

Help

Well, as a Bears fan I can say that the Vikings played two pretty good games against Detroit and Chicago and somehow grasped defeat from the jaws of victory. They have some talent and I think a bit of bad luck. But against the Browns at home? Vikings.

vikings have a great team and will destroy the browns...I believe they will also defeat the steelrs and browns after that.

but hopefully the giants (my team) will have their crap together before they meet the vikings on the 21st of oct.

Bet the farm on the vikings this week; there is no way the Browns could beat Youngstown State with the offense they have in place now.

Never bet on the Browns. It's like betting on Detroit - sure they can win, but what are the odds that they will pull that miracle (a win for the Lions is considered a miracle) but what are the odds that miracle will happen when you need it to?

This is true. I used to be a Browns fan until they moved to Baltimore. The current NFL team playing in Cleveland should never have been allowed to maintain the franchise's heritage/records. It is a joke of a team with a succession of inept coaches and owners.

I gotta go Vikes (am a MN guy), was thinking Ponder has his chance this year...but seems he is either GREAT, or AWFUL...keeping middle ground is impossible for Ponder. I am also displeased with coaching...Cordarrelle (sp) Patterson has seen 11 snaps only? Kicking TO Hester?!? The main reason I say go Vikes is the D. They really did well overall last week and they are going against a b/u QB. I am picking them in the GT League.

Take the Vikes, Cleveland is nothing more the scrimmage team this year.

LOL Browns traded Trent Richardson today for next year draft pick. They aren't even a scrimmage team this year- sinking further into the toilet. I pity the Browns fans who sprung for season tickets.

Beat me to it. Richardson should fit in well at Indy.

Here's hoping Mark Ingram gets out of Nawlins and sent to the NY Giants.

Well, I guess that shows what I know about the Browns. Who knew all they needed to do was bench their 1st & 2nd string QBs and get rid of their best running back to start winning?

When I read in the paper this morning that all 5 local sportswriters predicted a Vikings win, I bet my daughter that they get beat. My daughter owes me dinner.

One sportswriter said Browns was worse team in football. Vikings sure winner. Hmmm

Been a Vikings fan for years. Giants and Steelers have no joy this season either....which surprises me.
