Very excited about my rimfire purchase!

I've been looking for a bolt action rimfire to get me into the precision world, and also something that I can get my daughters out shooting. My research brought me to the Savage Mark II, and the hunt began.

Long story short, I found one on armslist with a tasco 3-9x40 scope, ended up paying the guy $150 for it! I'm very excited to get the family out to the range for some fun!

Sorry, just had to share.. By the way, this is my first rimfire..

Nice score. Bolt-action .22s can be plenty of fun. Hopefully the .22 ammo panic won't impede the good times.

With luck you will be able find a $20 brick of .22 for under 80 bucks.

Forgot to work on pics, but wanted to let everyone know that I managed to get my hands on some ammo and shot a few rounds out of this rifle during some downtime for quals. That gun is FUN to shoot!!
