I have a 94 Jeep Wrangler that I bought new and built. I'll never let it go as I e regretted selling my last cars.

My friends keep pushing me to get a "Daily Driver" as my Jeep is built more for Off Road than street, and that wears on my drivetrain.

Thing is, if I got a "Daily Driver". It would probably be more like a 1955 Buick... LOL
Nice Fleet to start with!!

He had always told me "you want a car, you buy it, you feed it".
Funny, your story is almost identical to mine, started working young, rode my bicycle to work from 14 years old, washing dishes for a pizzeria a couple miles down the road, I would go straight to work after high school and come home at 10 PM do my homework and crash.

Things sure are different nowadays, I'm not sure you can work at 14 years old anymore...

I was given a 75 Dodge Dart that was a neutered abomination to its namesake. Dang thing wouldn't die.

First car I bought myself was a 94 Saturn SC2.

1967 Ford Bronco bought in '83 when I was 15.

Wheeled the heck out of that thing in Northern Michigan til I joined the Navy (owned two other Broncos since; '79 and a '69).

Daughter now has an '11 Wrangler (2 door, soft top), nice vehicle.

My first car was a 1948 Willys Jeep. I was born in 1949. I got it in 1964, so it was 16 years old when I got it. The gals loved to ride around in that Jeep. It is identical to the photo below, except that it was painted High Visibility Yellow.

Your first car?

You know what I say about my Jeep. She's no mazzaratti, but I can pick up 3 girls in one trip through the trailer park. They may not have shoes, but 3 girls any day of the week!

88 Cavalier. It was a state vehicle (was about 8yrs old when I got it). Obviously it had been well maintained, and IIRC, had only about 90k.

Good car.. I drove the heck out of it

1967 Corvair, flat 6, dual weber 3barrel's. I miss that car sometimes. Never got stuck in the winter, a lot of firsts in that car....

Bought it from my dad for $500 in 1986 at 15, he had a 65 Mustang and a 69 Mercury, the only one he would sell me was the Corvair.

'69 Camaro.....327 Powerglide tranny.
Had the Z/28 emblems on the front and back...not a true Z; prior owner's daughter wanted them on there and the dealer oblige.

Still have it....sitting at my parents. Motor blown, window broken, friendly little black snake residing in it, rust has began taking it's toll.

I've posted this before, when these threads come up:

65 Olds Delta 88. No seatbelts, Smooth as glass at 100, so big, Navy jets tried to land on it. Just about as big as my first apartment.

'66 Pontiac GTO with a pretty wild 400, 4 speed (later replaced with a B&M Turbo 400) and a 4.56 gear (with 60 series tires). It was quick, but it cruised at like 35 mph.

1979 Thunderbird in 1998. Damn thing was a boat and got 8mpg. Had a tendency to lose power steering in the middle of corners which made life with it interesting to say the least.

When I was growing up I remember my parents had three different Pinto's. Not at the same time, thank God. They let my Aunt drive the orange one once and she totaled it. I remember my Mom telling Dad that the Pinto was gone. All he said was, "Good."
