.22 Conversion for Glock 19

Anyone have experience with .22 conversions kits for the 19, particularly the Advanyage Arms brand and if so, how well do they work?

I had an AA kit on my 26 for awhile. It ran with no problems but I always used CCI subs or standard velocity in it. I also had a threaded barrel and suppressor. I liked it but I ended up getting a dedicated pistol for the can and sold the kit.

The AA kit is far superior to the Ciener unit. You must use quality ammo though.

Thanks. Trying to find one to order. Been surfing for a while with no luck. No one has in stock due to the high demand.

I've got one for the 26/27 subcompact and another kit for the 19/23.

You have to make sure you pick up the proper kit for the proper Generation as well. AA kit for Gen 3 is different than AA kit for Gen 4.

Both of mine run fine. One of the loads AA recommends is Remington Gold Bullets and they run fine. My kits will NOT run Federal bulk pack at all.

Buy extra mags and the fun factor goes way up.

I have the AA conversion designed for the G19/G23 application and absolutely love it.

I have thousands of rounds (of fun) with very few issues. I highly recommend getting one of these conversions. It will build your control skills and save you a LOT of money in doing so.

Mine came from CMC and was about $280 to the door.

Have fun.

Buying up some CCI Mini Mags 40 gr, when I can find them, in anticipation of finding the AA kit. Keeping my eyes open for the Remington Goldens also as I here they fire really clean. Will probably order from CMC or Glockstore.com and just wait as it will probably go on backorder.

Just ordered from CMC. Backordered but thats ok. $275 plus $16 s&h. A fair price considering it seems to function better than the more expensive brands according to the testimonials.

Silly question. Just picked up my new 19G4 last week. My AA kit is on backorder. How dirty can I expect my 19 to get shooting 22 ammo? I enjoy cleaning my guns but was wondering if most of the crud will be in my slide and barrel. I have no idea how to clean a Glock lower. Guess I'll learn.

Ended up canceling my CMC order. Bought a Ruger Mark 3 stainless target. Might have had to wait months for the conversion kit.

Has anyone gotten a AA kit that they had on back order? How long was the wait?
