Rootin' for Putin

All this rooting for Putin is getting really old. You people (those who are doing the rooting) are really messed up.

I heard that Dave Chapelle is bringing back the Player Hater's Ball, based on Putin's strong pimp-hand alone.

Russia lost the Cold War. NATO encroaches their borders. They continue to lose their global influence and their downward trend is predicted to continue for the next 20 years. Why anyone considers Putin a leader on the Syria crisis is beyond me. Our country has certainly fumbled the ball in dealing with it but Putin's not hitting it out of the park......by any standard.

More than likely, but even if they're a majority here on GT, I'm sure they aren't in the real world. Most Republicans I know aren't that low. One has to admit that if our current President was Republican, there would be some Democrats who would be mirroring Fred Hansen's behavior.

There is a difference in Rooting for the man verses stating facts. I stated facts. The biggest fact of which is that Obama failed yet again and this time it allowed America to be embarrassed on a global scale. Obama tried to sound big and bad with his "red line". Then instead of acting Obama choked and is basically using Congress as a scapegoat. Kerry got involved and made matters worse. I have been waiting for Biden to chime in somewhere, at least then it would appear to be an episode of the Three Stooges.

I don't believe in the least that Putin is our friend in any way. You have to remember that Russia made it loud and clear that they would defend Syria against our attacks. His letter to the American people is nothing more than a slap in the face to Obama. He knows Obama is not a leader and Putin put him in a tough spot. That spot now is the choice to act on his threat to strike Syria (which was a bluff), or let Putin play diplomatic games with Syria. I'm not sure I am comfortable allowing Russia to be a diplomatic leader in a region that is willing that hates us. Putin is also a Syrian supporter, and this puts them into a grouping with Iran (a country that said they would stand with Syria to the end).

Is anyone Rootin' for Putin? Maybe some are. As for me, I am disappointed once again in the current administration that is led by a man that screws up everything he touches. If Obama was a real leader with integrity Putin would have to follow his lead, just as Russia has been doing with the US. since the Reagan administration.

Putin + Obama reminds me of Mike Tyson + Robin Givens (I'll let you decide which is which).

Putin is less of a threat to the United States than Obama.

But only because he is farther away.

Both want to see the US humbled and thrown down. Putin because we are a threat he doesn't need while facing China and Obama because he can't rebuild America into a socialist welfare state as long as we have a functioning economy and the majority of people have any pride in America and their own self reliance.

I don;t care what anyone else thinks...

when it comes to gamesmanship, Putin is putting the **** all over Obama.

I don't trust the motivations of most who would be considered "in power" but Putin, at the very least, can look and act like a leader. Our president is an embarrassment. He is a weak, stupid, sniveling boy in a room full of men where the players on the world stage are concerned.

What is even worse is that our congress, both sides of the aisle, are covering for the wimp. Throw all the bums out and start over.

Sucks that a foreign President had to stop us from entering a war the majority of American people did not want.

Our own President was going to ignore us. Makes me sick.

Obama is a wimp but he's OUR wimp. I never thought to see the day that conservative Americans would support some Russian commie.
