Uh,.......does no one read?

Quote:
In case you haven't guessed already, it was, of course, an ambitious publicity stunt. Workers for Europ Assistance IT, an insurance group based in Italy, had come to the street early in the morning to construct the fake submarine. The installation was erected to promote the firm's 'Protect Your Life' campaign.

No, no one does. That said, that was very cool and very ingenious.

On another site, the qual-guys are arguing whether the Italian subs have fairwater planes. Bubbleheads! HH

I am wondering how many people realize that Milano is no where near an ocean???? It is just south of the Alps.

Wait a second... that couldn't be real! The sewage pipes are too small for a sub to fit in. I'm calling B"manure"

They needed to do a better job on the dive planes.

I imagine that the Captain of the submarine has got some explaining to do.

Pretty cool.

Seems that at least one Italian Captain has the same issue. A la' Costa Concordia..

http://www.thestar.com/news/world/20..._in_italy.html

I was on a sub that made a "break through' surface through the ice. I never even got to take a peek outside! All the forward pukes had a chance, but I was back aft keeping the lights on and trying to keep the seawater inlet from pluggin up with ice.

All our patrols were "Blue Nose" events....it got old after a while initiating the polly-wogs...

Do any real subs have those little windows on the front of the Conning tower?
