alright so too much beer+bad day+credit card= bad decisions.

rough day at work, and i mean ROUGH! so i stopped at walmart on the way home for a 30 pack for the rest of the week, and one of those walmart mastercards you can pre-pay. i bought that just for using on my ps3 since that little hacker incident awhile back makes me real skittish about using my real credit card on the psn.

i get home and try to relax by throwing darts and having a few beers. it's been awhile since i've done this, so long in fact that it took me like a full minute to remember how to operate my coin op board and set it for free play. lol

i get the board set up, pop the first top , crank the stereo, and get ready to throw darts like Zeus throws lightning bolts, only to discover that i have exactly 1 good tip left, and no real usable flights.

well that blows that plan out of the water. looks like i need to get on the pc and order some dart supplies. understand that at this point the party is still going, it's just moved inside and there's a little less throwing of pointy objects going on.

that was an hour ago. i just got an email confirmation of my purchase showing that i just spent close to 100$ on a new set of darts, flights, tips, a digital gram scale, a throw line, and a throw line checker.

in the words of ron burgundy, "well that escalated quickly".

remind me to stay off any gun sales related websites for the rest of the night.......wait, dosen't gt have a classifieds section? brb.

You don't seem like the same person you were a couple of years ago.

so to save everybody alot of mental gymnastics and heartache why don't we each try to wrestle our own demons and get this thread back onto the light hearted and nonsensical track it was scheduled for.

Don Henley put a song out about this.

Difference is, you are putting it out there.

I usually make bad decisions with my card when I'm out drinking. I let everyone put their drinks on my tab and I wake up with a $200 receipt and very little cash from people who paid me back.

oh man i learned that life lesson a looooong time ago. when i go to the bar i put 100$ in 5's in 1 pocket and my i.d. in another. i leave the real cash and the credit cards at home.

it's funny that i know how to play that game in a bar, but not in my own home. lol

You knew every other alcoholic who ever lived? Many quit & never drink again.

You'll never get sober being dishonest. You relapsed because you couldn't hack it. Be a man & 'fess up.

besides my many faults one other thing i have is my pride, so be real ****ing careful with that whole "man up" angle chief. you don't know me anywhere near well enough to question my manhood.

for tomorrow's sake i'll say this, i'm most likely bristling right now because i've had a bit much tonight, BUT, i promise you that even on my most sober of days a comment like that would earn you my undivided attention too.

a joke is a joke is a joke, but there's always a line you don't cross. with me that's that line.

Oh get over it, it's an internet thread that's founded on being inebriated. No one cares about your "undivided attention".

Unfortunatly you have become that joke.

You put your balls out there, had everyone look at them, brag about them, and then pulled them back in.

You are now the joke when it comes to drinking. I don't say this being derogatory, it's just a fact.

You will always be "the guy" that "will never drink again"!!!!!!!

How about next time you choose to not drink for a month, don't post about how great it is and how happy you are.

It makes us regular drinkers look bad until you fail.

I gave up drinking for a month once.

Long before that, I gave up hard liquor for 3 years but made up for it with beer.

Anyone who tries to limit or control his drinking must recognize that a problem exists.

Last time I quit drinking was over 24 years ago, so far, so good.

If I ever start up again, I'll have a lot of catching up to do.

Good luck with your journey.....

There's no harm in drinking. Sure, a measure of self control will serve you (and me, and everyone else) well, but denying the fact that you like to drink won't.

Nothing wrong with that.

But you put it out here on the interweb.

Was there anything really wrong with you to begin with?

Did you read too much here?

Are you good with who and what you are?

Just from reading your posts over the past few years, I thought you were a good guy.

If I met you now I wouldn't know if I should offer you a beer or a Midol.

Life change is fine. Telling the interweb about it before you are sure is bad.

Cool. I just put a dart board up in the family room.

Played some Cricket with the wife today. She beat me.

I only drink on Saturday..........Holdem night. I prefer Stone IPA.

The credit card has been tight lately.
