TRITIUM EXTRACTOR? BTF gone with style!

http://www.glockmeister.com/Advanced...ctinfo/ICSI40/

Wow. This is definitely some bling to fix BTF. In all seriousness, it does look neat and I am sure is helpful to people whom want a reference at night to see if a round is chambered. May help some erratic ejection too with it being CNC machined (for those with issues that is). I don't personally want one but figured I'd share a new product I just saw.

Ok had to google it and found this quick vid from the company. Pretty cool idea actually. Almost makes me wish I had a 40.

*This product was sent to me in an e-mail from Glockmeister in case anyone wonders how I came across it*

BTF Cure?

I'll have to remember this . . . . . . too bad that it is for forties only.

OMG, that blurb on the Glockmeister site is hilarious. That must have been written by a 20 year Pentagon veteran with dual degrees in law and engineering. I have never seen tertiary used in a real sentence outside of a budget proposal.

If I ever build my race gun for open class I want one of those.

I need it just to get rid of all those "legacy protocols" those things have been bugging me since, since (well for a few seconds or so now anyhow).

I don't see the point to this.

I guess knowing which guns you have loaded and which ones aren't is too difficult? My rule is, if it's being stored in a holster and has a magazine inserted, it's loaded. If it's in a case or rug, with no mag it isn't. I only leave 3 pistols in my carry rotation loaded at a time. All holstered.

Hahahaha, I knew you guys would freaking love this. That being said, I would buy one for fun if the price ever hit around $35.

I imagine for condition 3 home defense pistol users this would very handy......not exactly going to do a press check at 3AM in the dark to make sure you loaded a round in the chamber. I could see this product working for that specific demographic.

How about tritium on the bottom of a butt plug, so you can locate the magwell and reload at night.

That thing is ugly.

Wouldn't use if it was given to me.

See no need for tritium indicator.

How about tritium on a spare mag so you can find that in the dark.

I hope they did not make a couple hundred thousand of them.

If they did the price will keep dropping

Soon enough it'll be a promotional gimmick, free with every order over $100

In partial support of your theory, I am a retired military veteran and have authored a few budget documents, but have no Law or Engineering degree.

^^This sums up my opinion as well.

I bet they'd sell all of them. Lots of people like bling.

If they deleted the tritium nonsense, and cut the price in half, I'd consider a high quality CNC bar stock replacement for the stock MIM part.

I agree about the problem. Not sure how "ingenious" the solution is.

The point is to move money from your pocket to his.

Does anyone else see this as a potential problem? I mean, why would you want to put a tritium vial right next to a chamber where a "minor controlled explosion" is going off???

I'm a big beloved in Mr. Murphy and his PESKY Law.... I just don't really think this is a good idea. Photolumenescent paint maybe... A tritium vial....? I'll pass...

Hell let's just go all the way and make a tritium slide, trigger and frame.

Tritium inserts on the bottom of the mags!!

That way, it would be easier to find your spare mags on your belt!!

No, he only uses "Daniel Defense" and his ample belly effectively covers his draw quite nice. For an 'ex-delta' i can't stand watching him, as most of the real operators i know (family) have definitely not let half a fridge of food and a keg of beer gone to their guts.
and the seriousness on his face when talking is exquisite! "I'm Larry Vickers, and i trust Daniel Defense"........................

him and that dang Michael Bane need some serious Jenny Craig spoon to mouth training!!!!

Good point, but then tritium isn't dangerous unless inhaled or ingested.

Wear a dust mask while shooting, you'll be fine
