I have 2 Gen4 USA G23 and Gen4 USA G19.... Right now they have the better finish over the Austrian models being currently produced. It's not that cheapo phosphate coating they've been using to get by in a crunch... My Glock 30s is the only gun I've bought (Non-USA) that has the old dependable finish on it....

I've got an unfired blue label 3rd gen "USA" 19 if anyone wants it. I'd really prefer a trade for a same or close condition, 3rd gen G26 or G17. The G19 just doesn't fit my hand right for some reason... Send me a message at DWentz744@yahoo.com

You can tell the US made Glocks by the "U" in the product code. Here are some of the US made Glock product codes:

UG1750203 GLOCK 17 9MM GEN4 FIXED SIGHT 17RD BLACK
UG1950203 GLOCK 19 9MM GEN4 FIXED SIGHT 15RD BLACK
UG2250203 GLOCK 22 .40SW GEN4 FIXED SIGHT 15RD BLACK
UG2350203 GLOCK 23 .40SW GEN4 FIXED SIGHT 13RD BLACK

It is just a marketing favor made by Glock to Russians and the pistols are all made in Austria...

Best.

I went to a gun show recently and there were quite a few USA Glocks in G17, G23, G26 and G27.

Since you know about this, why didn't Glock mark all the pistols sold in the USA as, "Assembled in the USA"? Since I've been on GT, folks have insisted the USA Glocks are assembled in GA, from Austrian parts.

For the life of me I cannot find a USA made Gen 4 model 27. :(
Does anyone here know if any USA made Glocks have been torture tested and compared in reliability to the Austria ones?
