red dot on g35

I am considering putting a open style red dot on my 35. I found a mount made by JP enterprise that fits in rear sight dovetail. the sight is also made by JP. it is very small & seems to be rated very good. does anybody on here use anything like this. I don"t want to get it & find out that this set up is a POS idea. I know the slide can be milled to add red dots but I would rather not do that. this is for target shooting not matches. any info on this idea. thanks

If your going to run a RDS on the Glock you want to get the slide milled so you can have a co-witness with your front and rear sights. This is important because you can find the dot much faster by bringing it up and looking for the front sight as usual and the dot appears.

Dovetail, like you were asking about.

Considerably better than I do. The red dot allows me to make tighter, faster, and more consistent groups/shots.
