Rugers new plant

Ruger is opening a new plant in Mayodan, NC. This is about 25 miles from where I live, I can see a road trip in the near future.

Any ideas why they did not go with more space in Arizona?

I think the question was why would he bother driving to see it. All you're gonna see is an industrial building that's there right now.

Beaches and bikinis, farther from the border, better fishing, and much more high-technology knowledge in NC than in AZ.

I hope they grow in both locations, it's good for everybody.

Their buying an existing plant with 194,000 sq ft of manufactoring space and 26,000 sq ft of office space. how much space do you need?

Their other plants employee 2000 people so in a county with 10% unemployment that will be a big boon to the economy.
