I am very sad.

I met Mark twice. He was a good cat. That's for sure.

I see Eric renamed GNG. Cool move, BGH.

Sad news. I'll miss Okie; he was a great presence here.

Although I never had the pleasure of meeting Okie in person, we shared several funny stories and had lots of laughs. I am sitting here at my computer right now in disbelief and sadness. He called me (and lots of others) "his friend". I will certainly miss you, Okie. RIP my friend.

As soon as I saw that GNG was changed to The Okie Corral, I knew, then I saw the description and my heart sank.

Okie was the one person that should have lived forever.

It's funny how I can care so much about all of you and you're just strangers to me. I've never met any of you, but here I am, all upset, again, for losing another.

I can't believe the sadness I feel for someone I never met in person. He was a great man and will be missed in big ways here on Glock Talk.

Rest in Peace

Rest in piece. I didn't "know" Okie except from these forums, but still feels like losing a friend.

A true measure of a person is whether you are a better person from knowing them. I think it is safe to say that GT is a better place from knowing Mark.

RIP Sir.

Yep. And if I remember correctly, times got tough and he sold it and bought a Range Officer.

That is a good resolution that I really need to follow.

I can't believe I am crying over somebody I only knew through the internet. Goodbye Mark.

Just now seeing this, Okie has always been a man with a heart of gold, who did everything he could to be positive, uplifting, cheerful and friendly. He will truly be missed. I will always remember he always called everyone "my friend". RIP brother.

Have been traveling for work and haven't been on GT in a while. I just saw this thread.

Really sorry to hear about this. Okie was probably my favorite poster on GT.

Okie was always generous with sympathy and kind words. He was sincere in a way most people never manage to be.

Go with God, Okie. We already miss you.
