I may buy something camo tomorrow.

It's a shame he wasn't on his (presumably) favorite board in his final days. It's terrible how fast these things can happen.

I was just reading some PM's from him the other day myself. I may be one of the few GT'ers he didn't always call 'my friend'. Sometimes he'd call me 'sweetheart'.

I am very saddened by this news. My wife and I had the pleasure of meeting Mark on one of our trips west. He came to the RV park where we had put in for a couple of days. We spent the better part of an afternoon sitting in our coach getting to know each other. We then jumped into his Dodge and went out to dinner at a restaurant named (of all things) Okie's Steakhouse and Saloon. What a great guy! Mark treated everybody well, even some people who probably didn't deserve it.

I'll miss him!

Still hoping it's not true, but I'm afraid it is.
Now I'm seeing several confirming posts from his RL friends and family.

Reading that post brings tears to my eyes, Okie was such a great man. To see some others mentioned there that we have lost is sad also. I think I will make a donation to the NRA in Okies name for sure. If you get details on services please share, my family would like to send an arrangement.

This news has literally crushed me. I am at a loss for words and feel an emptiness for a person I never met yet feel in some small way that I knew. Okie, I will miss you. I love you, my friend.
