Does the Mini DRACO use a Shepherd's Crook?

Mine does NOT have one......should it?

Do you mean the piece that holds the trigger group in place? I never owned a draco but my WASR 10-63 had one of those in it and it wasn't holding everything in right. First thing I changed out on the rifle. I put one of the flat plates in and haven't had a problem since. So if you have a plate holding it together in my opinion you are much better off.

Correct. I do see a wire (NO plate) but it is going UNDER the pins and is not held in by the safety lever

The pins do NOT come out though, so I guess it's working.

On my WASR- 10/63 the wire hooks onto the hammer pin but does NOT touch the trigger pin before angling up toward the safety lever.

It's all good though because I have two RETAINING PLATES coming in the mail on Thursday Hopefully they will install easily and this headache will be over.
