I never even remotely considered iwb'ing a practical/tactical. Do they even make a holster for those? The trigger is a little on the light side for carry, and the extend controls will be uncomfortable, as well as troublesome with carry.

I understand but in the gen 4 the mag release is not out there like on the gen 3.

When I EDC I prefer IWB I do not have to wonder when wearing a jacket if OWB is showing

You could really use any holster designed for a 17, and most likely a 19/26, and just open up the bottom. I'd look at a Comp-Tac Infidel "Slide" holster, which is designed to fit ALL Glocks in 9/40/357.

Just a thought...did you consider getting perhaps a 23 or 27 for IWB carry?

I'll check it out when I get home, to see how a 35 fits iwb. I'll also check my 24.

I use a Blade Tech FitsAll for a G35, about the same as carrying a slimmer 5" 1911 - not a problem.

When, at the end of a long hard day, this pistol seems too heavy, I think of all the guys who wear heavy tool belts all day at work; or our soldiers & Marines wearing 60 to 120+ pounds of gear into battle in the desert war. Or I go stand on my bathroom scale and realize I can lose at least five pounds of belly fat.

Then this two pound pistol doesn't seem so heavy anymore.

Besides, my family is worth it to me.

Also, it is easy to have the standard trigger control parts installed, like Glock does for LEO G35's. I usually install the NY1 trigger spring & extended Slide Lock lever as well. Trijicons too, or Meprolites.

For what it is worth, the G23 carries as well for me as the G27. I sold my G27 to someone who is very happy with it. Worked out well for both of us.

My G35 carries just fine with none of the issues you speak of. Oh...you said you never tried it...

Crossbreed Super tuck or my Comp-Tac Infidel "Slide" holster as said before. Carrying long slides is comforting but not comfortable.

the g34 is what I carried for awhile several years ago. Nothing wrong with it. Like mentioned above, any slide holster will work. comp-tac, crossbreed, etc...

I've never really thought about carrying my G34 IWB. I swapped the trigger to the standard trigger, so that's not an issue. I think I'm going to swap the magazine release to the regular one as well, not to crazy about the extended one. But I haven't put Trijicon's on it yet so it's still not ready for full carry use yet.

I've carried my G22 IWB without issue. I don't think my G34 would be much of a difference. Although I also have a G26 so that see most of my IWB carry these days.

Good luck, NYH1.

Anyone that has carried a 1911 IWB, could easily carry a G35 IWB.
