Money burning a hole

So I've got about 1100 to spend on a new firearm, and I need some inspiration. I currently have a Remington 870, .22 rifle, glock 21, glock 19, and a kimber custom 2. Would love some ideas.

Blackhawk convertible - .38 special, .357 magnum and 9mm.

General Firearms Forum

You'll have enough left over for a single stage press, reloading dies and components.

Man, I've always wanted a Ruger Blackhawk Convert in .45ACP/.45LC. Anybody got one of those? I'll bet you could whomp up some pretty warm loads for .45 Long Colt for hunting, and the Ruger could handle it no problem. Then, for plinking, you could shoot ACP ball.

I have no idea why, in the last 25-30 years, I've never picked one up.

AK

I am in a similar situation. My advice is if you don't have a Glock 19 go and get one asap. My gen 4 19 is my go to carry gun.

You don't have a rifle that shoots rifle rounds, so I'd suggest one of those. An AR or AK is a good place to start looking, but there are plenty others out there. We won't own it nor be there to tell you the ups and downs. Best thing to do is go to a local shop, handle the guns and do research where you can while taking everything with a grain of salt.

An AR15 should be nice. Every true American should own an AR15.

AK
+1 on this, you already have a .45, so why not grow the family. Also as someone else said money left to start reloading if you don't already.

As others have said a rifle would also be a good. AR, AK, SKS all great choices. Look into some mil surplus for other great choices. Mosin Nagant rifles can be had under $200- ammo $90 for 440 rounds. Swiss K 31 incredible rifle for $300- most are close to MOA.

Or get into real trouble and file for your 03 C&R FFL. $30 for 3 years of ordering C&R guns direct to your door.

Not sure about that...

I've been getting along well without one for many years.

AK

With my 5-1/2" .45 Colt Blackhawk, I stopped at a 250 grain XTP going just shy of 1,200 fps with a bunch of room left in the data.

OP - for some reason, I immediately noticed your lack of revolvers, but I didn't notice the lack of a rifle.

I gotta say get a Remington 700 BDL or CDL in the caliber of your choice and top it off with a decent scope.

Yeah, I'd go revolver or bolt action center fire rifle.

The ever popular Colt LE6920.

How about a really nice revolver?

Sig 220 or 226

While I agree you can get along nicely without an AR, the same cannot be said for a Sig.

Or an old school lever action.
