Ah, the Expanding Monoblock Bullet, they're crap.
frequently fails to expand.

This is your best bet, imo:

some like the 124gr+p HST, they are great too, but i'm a heavy-for-caliber fan

Both Hirtenberger of Austria and Fiocchi of Italy have produced the EMB load over the years. Fiocchi USA currently produces a 92gr EMB load and is available here in the US. The EMB is not an "Air Marshall" load (people will say anything to sell ammo).

The EMB bullet is made from a copper alloy and has a very large post in the HP cavity similar to the Hydra-Shok. All EMB bullets are lightweight to reduce potential downrange hazards. They are more of a collectors item here in the US than a SD load.

Unless you are an air marshall, why would you want air marshall ammo anyway? It's crap designed to not penetrate to lessen the chance of a hull breach. Garbage.

It's obvious that you don't know much about FAM's and the ammo they use. They use Sig's in .357 SIG caliber and use modern JHP ammo. The EMB round was not designed for nor used by FAM's. And in reality, there is no such thing as a speciality "Air Marshal" round.

The EMB and many other rounds like the numerous variations of the Action Cartridge, Quick Defense (QD), PEP etc., were designed for European LE because of the European's hatred of HP "Dum Dum" bullets. In fact many European LEO's still use FMJ loads.

Such rounds are far from being "garbage".
