Back to the 19

It's been a while since I've taken the 19 to the range. Forgot how nice it shoots. 250 rounds of 100% reliability this morning.

There's good reason that Glock sells more 19s than any other model. I love mine too. I would love it even more if held sixteen 45s without changing it's size, but I' pretty sure that's not in the cards.

Think for yourself.

I've posted this story before, but think it's worth sharing again...

First off, my wife is a former Marine that can shoot with the best of us.

When the Gen 4 hubbub was finally over, I picked up a G19. The next day, I asked my wife if she'd like to go with me to run a couple of hundred rounds through it, and she replied "Of course".

After three hundred rounds, we were on the way home when she said, "You'd better stop by Spurlock's." (my LGS)

When I asked why, she said "You need to get another one of these because this one's mine".

So I did.
G'day and G'lock.

My first glock was the venerable g19. I traded it for a 26. Got a ruger lcr and sold the 26. Found an RTF2 g17 with help from a fellow gter. Great gun but I want a 19!

I see a gen2 19 in my future... Stolenphoto where you at?

Good to hear your G19 is enjoyable to shoot.
I never talked to anyone who had to fire their gun who said "I wished I had the smaller gun and fewer rounds with me" Just because you find a hundred people who agree with you on the internet does not mean you're right.
