Out of all the pocket 9's...

Which one has the most "glocklike" trigger? Strictly talking single stacks. Since Glock refuses to make one....

Walther PPS in my limited experience with it. The Beretta Nano trigger OTOH is getting better with use. My MK9 has a better trigger than either.

This is what I was thinking... I don't like the long reset on the Kahrs though.

gonna go with the nano as well. The trigger on mine has vastly improved over the course of 300rds or so. I really like that pistol.

I'm sure the XDS 9mm will have the same trigger as the 45acp model and it's trigger is almost identical to a Glock.

I still notice a big difference between my Nano trigger and any of my glocks.

If you're looking glock like do NOT get a Keltec pocket 9. Pull on mine is a few feet long lol

the Kahr PM 9 or P9 is about as glockish as you can get and the trigger pull is somewhere in the middle of a revolver and a glock.

when folks say the trigger pull is long you must consider the source.

Out of all the small Single stack 9's I've shot over the last couple years I still like the Kahr PM9 over them all. However the Walther PPS9 looks and shoots like a keeper.
The Kahr is probably the closest to being a pocket 9. In my case it's not a pants pocket though unless we're talking cargo shorts.

IMO, it's the Bersa BP9CC... has the same short reset as the Glock, and the Walther PPS is a close second, but it's mag release is too unlike every other pistol I own to be a serious CCW, for me.

Tough for any TRUE pocket 9's to have a Glock like trigger. Im a pocket rocket junkie and I havent seen any real pocket 9 that anything close to a Glock.

I know I'm going to get grief over this but I was sold by my LGS on a Taurus PT709 Slim. I started out to get LC9. The VERY long trigger pull put me off as well as the magazine disconnect. The 709 trigger is very Glock-like. Double strike capability. 500 rounds and no FTF, FTE. Fits in a DeSantis Nemisis in my right front pocket. I'm grateful to my LGS guy for putting me on to this!

P.S. I have a 19, 26 and a new 30SF.

This is the 2nd time I've seen the Bersa. Can anybody speak on the reliability? Also, I did get my mom a Nano and was wondering if the trigger would smooth out after a few hundred rounds. What about the Shield with an Apex trigger? Although I haven't seen a shield in 9mm ever and the ones priced online are way high.

When it comes to pocket 9mm's, it should actually fit into a pocket. That narrows things some. As to prerequisites, realize, if you go pocket 9 small, you will have to adjust your expectations and your prerequisites. It will be a compromise.

I find my Kahr PM9 is an excellent option and it pocket carries well. Just remember to use a pocket holster. The trigger pull is excellent. The long trigger pull is a smart feature for pocket carry. The CM9 is a good option too.

The Number Solo may be worth considering, but I have no experience with them.

The Ruger LC9 and Smith & Wesson Shield are too large to easily pocket carry.

There are options from Beretta and SIG too.

All seem fine. Just choose the features that matter to you. I like the quality and +P capability of the Kahr PM9. It is very reliable, accurate and truly pocket sized.

If you have larger pockets, other guns may work. I have carried my Springfield Armory XDs 45 ACP in a pocket. The 9mm version is available soon and it has a great trigger and fast reset.

I too will get flamed for this but when I can't carry my glock 27 I go with a wallet holster and my Rohrbaugh, I know they are expensive but mine is more accurate than I am at 15 yards and very reliable.

Nobody has any experience with the Diamondback DB9? I handled one awhile back and it felt almost exactly like a Glock, looked like a single stack Glock, and had the low bore axis of a Glock...didn't shoot it though so who knows if it shoots anything like a Glock?

Very few of what have been mentioned could be considered a pocket 9.
Rohrbaugh R9.......hands down the best POCKET 9mm on the planet!

Yea, I know the phrase "pocket nine" gets thrown around a lot. I simply said that because most people will understand slim, small. I primarily carry a G19 IWB and don't want to have my primary gun in my pocket. I have a P3AT for those times when I need to pocket carry. What I really want is something as close to my G19 as possible but single stack. It looks like the PPS and the XDs are as close to the G19 as possible. Thanks everyone for the replies! If anyone has anything to add please feel free.

PPS with a 6 round mag can be pocketed in large pockets, that's going to have as close to a Glock trigger as you'll find.

I made the same thread a few months ago and have seen the same question a few times since.

There's no really good option like a PM9 sized gun with the glock'esque trigger.

It does seem that about anyone who has one speaks highly of the Rohrbaugh.
