In AZ, both our Fudruckers and Whataburger closed down within a month of each other.

The local Arby's is consistently nasty and overpriced while the one here in Moscow, Idaho is excellent...

My problem is that some of the local fast food places are good or bad within the same brand depending on what town they are in. Arbys around here are highly variable, same with Wendy's. Those are the two I use most often for fast food. Tried a Hot Heads Burrito but it was overpriced and they didn't have refried beans. That was just weird.

Of course the A&W rootbeer place in Union City is in a class by itself, car hops and great food. Need to get up there this summer.

Ward's. A very "down-home" chain with chili burgers and floats and more. If you aren't from south Mississippi or south Alabama, you wouldn't know them. Rabbi knows, and the rest of you should stop by when you come through.

Chick-Fil-A. High quality, delicious, and very well managed. Real service.

Captain D's. Another deep south chain. It is like Long John Silver's, but without the regret.

I also visit Wendy's and Arby's with enjoyment. Five Guys is good but far overrated.

Domino's has been my top pizza chain since they changed their recipes. Papa John's doesn't get a second look anymore.
Captain Ds isnt a deep south chain, we have them up here too. To me they are just Long John Silvers that you pay extra for.

It's been almost a year since I have eaten fast food. That said, I would eat at the local Hardee's (sans bread, fries and soda) because the owner is a personal friend.

When I did eat fast food, I was a Little Ceasar fan because of the sheer speed and cheapness. BK was ok too.

I'm just not a fast food eater. I plan ahead to work around being forced to eat it, especially when I'm out of town.

Carl's Jr has great hamburgers,
Raising Cain's has awesome chicken fingers with their own sauce,
and I also enjoy Taco Bell & Taco Bueno!
But, I rarely am allowed to eat fast food so when I do... really appreciate it.

The local A&W is awesome for the American classics. I'll have an awesome burger, a chili cheese fry, and a strawberry shake. And then a nap.

I like the McDonald's coffee. It's not fantastic, but it's potable and consistent. I can get it exactly the same way every single time 24 hours a day at any McD's in the country. For a buck, without getting out of the truck.

I tried Five Guys, was thoroughly unimpressed. Figured I'd give it another shot. Same deal, the BK two blocks down the street makes a better burger for less cost and I don't have to get out of the truck. My wife refuses to go there at all - no shakes at a burger joint was a deal breaker for her.

I realize that restaurants vary from location to location and especially from franchise to franchise. If the mood strikes me again I'll try Five Guys again - at a different location.

Bill Grays bubba double cheeseburgers unbelievably delicious you can feel your arteries clogging with every bite. I believe they are a local chain.

For me it is Las Palapas, Whataburger, Chick-fil-a or Jimmy Johns

Taco Time. That is my fast food guilty pleasure.

Then Chick-Fil-A. Great service, spicy chicken sandwich and a waffle fry. Umm.

It kills me that Chick-fil-A isn't open on Sunday.

Most Sunday mornings I could use a couple chicken and biscuit sammys to help with my hangover.

I just found this place yesterday. http://www.itsburgertime.com/ it's what Burger thing should be. Really chargrilled, toasted bun, as you like it. The "pounder" really is a whopper. Worth the cheat.

Don't a lot of fast food-I get a craving maybe once a month. Does Subway, Cousins or Jimmy John's count even though its not grilled/deep fried, etc?

Probably Culver's

I've always liked Burger King.

The Okie Corral
These quotes nailed it. Chik- Fil- A's level of customer service is almost bizarre compared to other fast food chains. It's like they're from another planet compared to the unwashed, surly, high school dropouts working at their competitors. I've never had a bad experience at any of the Chik- Fil- As that I've eaten at anywhere in the country.

Culver's is a very close second.

QFT. Five Guys is all right but ridiculously overpriced for what it is compared to McDonald's or BK.

My wife and kid love it, though. Whatever.
