My favorite fast food place is Chick-fil-A. Good quality food, great customer service, and a pretty good variety of selection on their menu.

In an unexplainable way, I LOVE taco John's. But when all's said and done, they usually aren't great. Still my favorite.

I am thrilled to see Muchas Gracias get a mention- many a 2AM Oregon burrito in my belly. So good. I also just discovered Taco Bueno. Popeye's always works. I like Long John Silver's fish too.

In-N-Out and Carl's Jr. (Hardee's) are my favorites, Taco Bell is okay if I need to eat cheap.

McDonald's fries are good and I like their breakfast menu, but the burgers are awful.

For everyone else...

What is your favorite fast food joint and why? Preferably a chain. If it is a local or regional chain, try and include a link if you would.
I love the mom and pop / hole in the wall places as much as everyone else...but not all chains are bad. Granted, I'm someone that loves my grease with a side of salt.

When in CA, that I'm back in God's Country, it's a close call between Frisch's (Big Boy) or Skyline Chilli. Probably Frisch's, because of the breakfast bar and hot fudge cake. They actually had Big Boy in CA, but it sucked there compared to the midwest....dirty, food not made as well, etc. Glad to be back.

Subway, and Carls' Jr's...Only. Many folks don't realize that Subway sales are #3: behind Mc's and Burger King. Cheers.

I wasn't impressed. Unless you like your fries served in a paper sack...

I wasn't either. While it tasted very fresh, it was still just a fast food burger.

When it comes to burgers, I have pretty much decided that there are no good fast good burgers, even if some are better than others. If you want a burger, you get it at a BBQ joint. If you get in the habit of doing that, you simply wont be able to eat fast food burgers.

I prefer Chik-fil-a or Popeyes or Chipotle if I want to be a little healthier.

Five Guys has great fries, but the burgers are pretty average. I prefer a freshly cooked Wendy's burger to a Five Guys burger.

Twisters in Albuquerque. It's a small local chain (maybe 12 restaurants) Their green chile smothered burritos are calling to me...

Chik-Fil-a and it isn't even close. They have by far the nicest employees, cleanest places and best food around.
The problem in our country today is that we spend more time on making sure we are politically correct instead of making sure we are biblically correct.

Subway is what I try to eat at while on duty due to me trying to eat better. When i'm with my family, we still eat at Subway, but we also eat at Chic-Fil-A and Taco Cabana a lot. I used to love Naugles, and I still love Whataburger. Another place we eat at a few times a month is Jack-in-the Box. Trying to pick a favorite is just too hard.

Lenny's Subs ...once you try one, you'll never go back to Subway. The pepper relish is addictive.

For a burger ...I'm still partial to Whataburger.

Del Taco. Man I miss Del Taco.

Chicken Express around here.

Chick-Fil-A has the most polite employees, but the one around here could not get a brekfast order right for love nor money (weird for CFA) and I gave up.

For fast-food hamburgers I think my favorite's are:

Burger King---Whopper w/cheese
Wendy's---Double Cheeseburger
McDonalds--Angus burgers, but I hear they are
eliminating them.
Hardee's (we don't have them in southern Michigan).

Breakfast sandwiches:
Tudor Biscuit World (mostly southeastern states I guess.
Great biscuits fixed most anyway, but not as fond of their "sit-down" menu/meals.

Fish sandwiches:
Long John Silver
Burger King (the BK Big Fish used to be the best)

DiBella's (Ann Arbor, MI---local only I think)

Local bar
Pizza Hut

Popeye's is king of all fast food. I've known a few unfortunate Popeye's that were below standards, but when it's good it's amazing.

Ward's. A very "down-home" chain with chili burgers and floats and more. If you aren't from south Mississippi or south Alabama, you wouldn't know them. Rabbi knows, and the rest of you should stop by when you come through.

Chick-Fil-A. High quality, delicious, and very well managed. Real service.

Captain D's. Another deep south chain. It is like Long John Silver's, but without the regret.

I also visit Wendy's and Arby's with enjoyment. Five Guys is good but far overrated.

Domino's has been my top pizza chain since they changed their recipes. Papa John's doesn't get a second look anymore.
I don't really think Atlas is going to shrug. It's just a vain dream of mine.
